<br />To my beloved husband_, David Kaufmann, I hereby bequeath such of my personal effects as ne
<br />may desire.
<br />1V.
<br />To my beloved daughter -in -law, Anna Caballero, I hereby bequeath my diamond dinner ring.
<br />V.
<br />In the event my beloved husband shall not survive me, then such part of his estate as I may
<br />take, either as his widow under the laws of the State of Nebraska, or by descent either by Will
<br />or otherwise, I hereby give, devise and bequeath as follows, to' -wit:
<br />One -half part to the residue of my estate as hereinafter set forth, and the other one -half I
<br />hereby give, devise and bequeath to such person or persons in the same proportions and with the
<br />same restrictions, to whom the said David Kaufmann shall have bequeathed or devised his estate
<br />in his will, excluding myself, or as shall have taken under the statute of descent and distribu-
<br />tion of the laws of the State of Nebraska, excluding myself, from.the said David Kaufmann.
<br />V1.
<br />I hereby direct the Executor hereinafter named of my Last Will and Testament to convert the
<br />rest, residue and remainder of my estate into money at such times.and under such terms and con-
<br />ditions as to him shall seem advisable.
<br />V11.
<br />I direct the Executor of my Last Will and Testament to pay over any and all moneys of which
<br />I may die possessed as soon as possible, to the persons and in the proprortions hereinafter set
<br />forth, and upon converting such part of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate as shall
<br />not consist of money, into money, to pay said money over -to the same persons and in the same
<br />proportions; said payments to be made as follows, to -wit:
<br />One -third part to my beloved daughter -in -law, Anna Caballero; one -third part to my beloved
<br />sister, Elizabeth Blake; and one -ninth part to ea.ch of my three brothers, Worthy Colby, Glover
<br />Colby and Guy Colby; and to their heirs and assigns forever.
<br />Vill.
<br />I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my beloved husband, David Kaufmann, to be the
<br />Executor of this, my Last Will and Testament, and hereby grant unto him full power and authority
<br />to sell, exchange, mortgage or 6therwise lien any property of which I may die possessed, and to
<br />make, execute, and deliver such deeds, bills of sale, mortgages, or other instruments effecting
<br />any of the property of which I may die possessed, as may be necessary with the same power as I
<br />might have myself.
<br />1X.
<br />In the event, however, my beloved husband shall not survive me, then I nominate, constitute
<br />and appoint Edward Huwaldt, of Grand Island, Nebraska, to be the Executor of my Last Will and
<br />Testament, with the same powers as I have hereby granted to my said husband.

<br />We, whose names are hereunto subscribed, do hereby certify that Celia Kaufmann, the testatrix,
<br />she then being of sound mind and under no complusion, executed the foregoing instrument in our
<br />presence and in the presence of each of us, at the same time declaring that said instrument
<br />was her Last Will and Testament, and we, at her request, and in her presence, and in the presence
<br />of each other, subscribed our names hereto as attesting witnesses.

<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
<br />OF CELIA KAUFMANN.
<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
<br />That I, Celia Kaufmann, of Grand Island,Hall County, Nebraska, being of sound mind and dis-
<br />Dosing memory, but not unmindful of the uncertainties of human life, do hereby make, publish and
<br />declare this a Codicil to my last Will and Testament, dated April 1, 1937;
<br />(1) I hereby amend my said last Will and Testament by adding thereto Paragraph SVI,reading
<br />as follows, to -wit

<br />To each of my brothers, John Colby and Charles Colby, I bequeath the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)
<br />and no more, upon the condition that said brother or brothers shall make demand therefor on
<br />the County Judge of Hall County, Nebraska, on or before six months after the date of my death,
<br />and in the event one or both of them shall fail to make demand, then the legacy hereby be-
<br />queathed to such one so failing shall lapse.
<br />(2) I also amended Paragraph V11 of said last Will and Testament by substituting for my
<br />brother Glover Colby, his wife, Lilly Colby, so that Paragraph VII of my last Will and Testament,
<br />as so amended, shall read as follows, to -wit:
<br />VII
<br />I direct the Executor of my Last Will and Testament to pay over any and all moneys of which
<br />I may die possessed as soon as possible, to the persons and in the proportions hereinafter set
<br />forth, and upon converting such part of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate as shall not

<br />forever.
<br />Except for the single substitution of the name of Lilly Colby, wife of Glover Colby, for the
<br />said Glover Colby, the devises and bequests in said original Paragraph Vil shall be and remain
