150 <br />TNEAUGUSTINECO. 20112.2.41 <br />WILL AND DECREE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JOHN BREMER. <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That I, John Bremer, being of sound mind and disposing memory do <br />make, publish, and declare this my Last Will and Testament in the manner and form following: <br />1. It is my desire and I direct that all my just debts shall be first paid by my Executrixt <br />hereinafter named. <br />11. I direct that m beloved son Henry A.Bremer shall be given out of my estate the sum of <br />One Thousand Dollars (1,000.00) and that the same shall be paid to him within six months after. <br />the date of my death by my Executrix. I direct that the said Henry A.Bremer shall have the said <br />One Thousand Dollars absolutely and he shall have no other interest or share in my property. <br />11. I give, devise, and bequeath to Margaretha Volgren, daughter of my beloved wife, tie sum <br />of ive Dollars ($5.00) and she shall have no other share or interest in or to my estate or any <br />part thereof. <br />lV. I give, devise, and bequeath all of the rest, residue, and remainder of my property of every <br />kind and nature, to my beloved wife, Lena Bremer, she to have the same absolutely. In the event <br />however, that my beloved wife, Lena Bremer should remarry, then I direct that all of the property <br />whic4 passes to her under this Will shall revert to and become the property of my beloved daughter, <br />Matilda A.Bremer. In the event that she should not remarry, then I direct that all of my estate <br />shall descend at the death of my beloved wife, Lena Bremer to my beloved daughter, Matilda A.Bremer,' <br />she to have the same absolutely. <br />V. I hereby request that my daughter, Matilda A.Bremer shall reside with my beloved wife during <br />her life time and assist her in maintaining a comfortable home. However, she shall not be required <br />to do so and her failure to do so will not cause a forfeiture of the bequest herein made, but I <br />simply make this request of my beloved daughter. In the event that my daughter Matilda Bremer should <br />precede my beloved wife, Lena Bremer, in death leaving issue surviving her, then I direct that the <br />property which would have descended to Lena Bremer shall descend to her children in equal.shares but <br />in the event that she should precede ny wife in death and should leave no issue surviving her, then <br />I direct that the property which would have descended to her, shall descend to my grandson Henry A. <br />Bremer,Jr., the same to belong to him absolutely. <br />VI. I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Lena Bremer, the Executrix of this my Last <br />Will and Testament and request that she be not required tp give bond. <br />VII. That on the 21st day of June, 1939, said instrument <br />to which this certificate is attached was duly proved, probated and allowed as the last will and <br />testament of the real and personal estate of said John Bremer, deceased, and the same was ordered <br />to be recorded in the.records of the Court aforesaid. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the County Court this <br />21st day of June, 1939- <br />Paul N.Kirk <br />(SEAL) County Judge <br />HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA F I L E D JUN 21 1939 PAUL N.KIRK COUNTY JUDGE <br />CODICIL TO LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT.. <br />OF JOHN BREMER. <br />I, John Bremer, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make, publish and declare <br />this codicil to my last will and testament as follows: <br />I direct that Paragraph 11 of said will shall be cancelled and annulled, and in lieu thereof, <br />I hereby substitute Paragraph 11 as follows: <br />11.1 <br />"I direct that my beloved son, Henry A.Bremer shall receive the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) <br />from my estate, to be paid to him by my executrix, but he shall have no other share or part <br />of my property.
