WILL AND DECREE
<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
<br />OF
<br />JOHN C.SEIER
<br />IN THE NAME OF GOD,AMEN.

<br />I,John C.Seier,of Long Pine,County of Brown,and State of Nebraska,being of sound mind,
<br />memory and understanding,considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time there -
<br />of,and being desirous of settling my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave
<br />this world when it shall please the Almighty to call me hence,do hereby make,publish and declare
<br />this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and annulling all Wills by me heretofore made,
<br />in manner and form following ;that is to say;
<br />FIRST,and principally,I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to
<br />be decently buried at the descretion of my executors hereinafter named,and my will is that all of
<br />my just debts and funeral expneses s -4all be paid by my executors,hereinafter named,as soon after my
<br />decease as it shall be convenient.
<br />SECOND, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Sophie Marie Seier, all of my real estate, to
<br />have and to hold the same for the period of her natural life,and at her death the remainder of
<br />said real estate,I give and devise the same to my children,share and share alike,as follows;
<br />Minnie Wicht,Anne Seier, Frieda Duffy, Emma Zlomke, Johnnie Seier, Lena Davis, Henry Seier, Sophie
<br />Seier,Gladys Juhnke,and Ralph Seier,and I further direct my executors and their successors to
<br />convey the same to my said children,and the lawful issue of any deceased child by right of repre-
<br />senation absolutely.
<br />FIFTEENTH,it is my will and I request that my wife,together with
<br />appoint my son Johnnie to manage my east ranch,and that he shall
<br />and farm implements,together with all stock remaining after paym
<br />mentioned,and for such services as manager,that he shall receive
<br />proceeds from all increase of the stock raised thereon,he to pay
<br />on said ranch himself.
<br />SIXTEENTH,it is my will and I request that my wife,together with
<br />the executor and his successor,
<br />have the use of all machinery
<br />ent of the legacies hereinbefore
<br />and have one -half of the net
<br />the taxes,insurance and upkeep
<br />the executor and his successor,
<br />THIRD,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my daughter,Minnie Wicht,the sum of one- hundred dollars.
<br />FOURTH,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my daughter,Anne Seier,the sum of one - hundred dollars.
<br />FIFTH,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my daughter,Freida Duffy,the sum of one- hundred dollars.
<br />SIXTH,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my daughter Emma Zlomke,the sum of one- hundred dollars.
<br />SEVENTH,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my son,Johnnie Seier,the sum of one- hundred dollars.
<br />EIGHTH,I give and bequath unto
<br />my daughter,Leana Davis,the sum of one- hundred dollars.
<br />NINTH,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my son,Henry Seier,the sum of one - hundred dollars.
<br />TENTH,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my daughter,Sophie Seier,the sum of one - hundred dollars.
<br />ELEVENTH,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my daughter,Gladys Juhnke,the sum of one- hundred dollars.
<br />TWELFTH,I give and bequeath unto
<br />my son,Ralph Seier,the sum of one - hundred dollars,to be paid to
<br />him,with interest at the rate
<br />of five per cent per annum,in case and when he shall attain the
<br />age of twenty -one years.
<br />THIRTEENTH, I give and bequeath
<br />unto my wife, Sophie Marie Seier, all my household furniture, jewlry,
<br />clothing and personal effects.
<br />FOURTEENTH,I hereby authorize
<br />and direct my executors after all notes,mortgages and accounts have
<br />been collected,and all moneys
<br />in bank used in payment of legaeies,to sell cattle and grain from
<br />off my farms,until all legacies
<br />have been paid or provided for,and I hereby give,devise and be-
<br />queath to my said wife Sophie
<br />Marie Seier,all the rest and residue of my personal estate and
<br />effects of whatsoever kind or
<br />nature.
