LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
Of
AUGUSTA BOLDT.
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
I, Augusta Boldt, of Hall County, Nebraska, being of sound mind and disposing memory, but not
unmindful of the uncertainties of human life, do hereby make, publish and declare this, my last
Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made:
1.
My estate is small, consisting chiefly of a promissory note of my son, Richard, and a promissory
note of my deceased son, Edward, and his wife, Annie, and I express the hope at this time that
there may be no trouble or controversy over the provisions made in this will. I have divided my
property as well as could be done under my limited circumstances.
11.
I wish to be buried next to my husband, and so much of our half of the cemetery lot as remains
unused, shall go to my said son, Arthur.
111.
The placing of a tombstone on my gave shall be paid for by my Executor and charged as part
of the expenses of administration.
1V.
I hereby give my said son, Arthur, all my furniture, chickens and other personal property in
my house, excepting, however, promissory notes or money which I shall dispose of in another para-
graph of this will.
Page 2.
V.
-Augusta Boldt
I direct that my just debts, funeral expenses and burial expenses be first paid out of my
estate. Vi.
To my son, Arthur, I give Three Thousand Dollars ($3000.00). I have given him the major part
of my estate forthe reason that he has remained home and has provided for me and taken care of me
in sickness and in health and I feel that in order to enable him to hold our home farm as against
the heavy charges put thereon by my husband at a time when real estate values were several times
more than what they now are, it is my duty to help him as much as I can and, therefore, I have
given him said amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($3000.00).
V11
To my dearly beloved son, Richard, I give Twenty -five Dollars ($25.00).
Vill
I hold a note given by my deceased son, Edward, and his wife, Annie, for Eight Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($550.00), which was in the nature of an advancement and which note I hereby give and
bequeath to my three grandchildren, Bernadine Boldt, Fransil Boldt, her sister, and Russel Boldt,
share and share alike. In addition thereto I give them, share and share alike the sum of Seventy -
five Dollars ($75.00).
