praying that he be apnointed Executor of above entitled estate. It appears from said application <br />that Margaret Duggan, late of Dubuque County, died therein on or about the 20th day of July 1903, <br />leaving a Last Will and Testament which has been duly admitted to probate by this court and in <br />which Wm.L.Duggan the person herein asked to 'be appointed was named as executor without bond, and <br />no debts except $100.00 Dollars. <br />That deceased left surviving the following legatees. <br />Lawrence Duggan residing at Dubuque <br />Wm.L.Duggan <br />u u <br />'Ma.ry' K:i� l J y <br />Sarah A. Duggan <br />John Duggan <br />Elizabeth Duggan now Sr. M.Margaret <br />Frank Duggan 11 <br />Joseph - Duggan Republic Washington. <br />That said deceased died seized of real estate of the value of Twenty -five hundred Dollars. <br />And also personal property of the value of Five Hundred Dollars. <br />That the value of said estate (undiminished by debts) does not exceed the suo of Five Hundred <br />($500.00) Dollars. <br />Your petitioner being the son of said deceased, therefore prays that letters testamentary may <br />be granted unto himself on the estate of said deceased. <br />And the court having examined said application and deeming said Wm.L.Duggan to be a fit and <br />proper person to act as such executor. <br />Said Wm.L.Duggan is therefore appointed Executor of said Estate, without bond, and he is ordered <br />to give notice of his appointment in the Telegraph Herald for 3 weeks. <br />Whereupon letters testamentary were issued to said Wm.L.Duggan. <br />On the 14th day of October A.D. 1903 the qualification of executor was filed in words and <br />figures following, to -wit: <br />IN DISTRICT COURT OF IOWA IN AND FOR DUBUQUE COUNTY. <br />In the Matter of the ) <br />2536 Estate of ) Prob.
