<br />IN DISTRICT COURT, DUBUQUE COUNTY, IOWA.
<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT.
<br />In the name of God, Amen:
<br />I, Margaret Duggan of the City of Dubuque, County of Dubuque and State of Iowa,'being of full
<br />age and of sound mind and disposing memory,and being mindful of the uncertainties of this life, and
<br />being desirous of disposing of my wordly possessions and goods, with which God has seen fit to
<br />endow me, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former
<br />Last Wills or Testaments by me made.
<br />First, I direct that all my lawful debts and expenses of my last sickness and burial and of the
<br />administration of my estate, be paid by my executor hereinafter named, as soon as convenient after
<br />my death.
<br />Second, I desire my Executor, as soon as convenient after my death, to erect a suitable monument
<br />over the graves of my deceased husband and myself, in the Cemetery at New Melleray, Dubuque County,
<br />Iowa, where my deceased husband is now buried.
<br />Third, I give devise and bequeath to Reverend Father David of New Melleray Monastery, Dubuque
<br />County, Iowa, the sum of Fifty Dollars for the purpose of saying Masses, or having Masses said for
<br />the repose of the souls of my deceased husband, myself and all our family.
<br />Fourth, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Sarah Ann Duggan, the small table,
<br />given to me by her, which Teas the property of my beloved daughter, now deceased.
<br />Fifth, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved son, John Duggan, the Sofa Pillow, and the
<br />table covering for my center table, and the picture of the Sacred Heart, to have and to hold the
<br />same for his own use and benefit.
<br />Sixth, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved son Lawrence L.Duggan, ghe sum of Ten Dollars.
<br />Seventh, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Elizabeth Duggan, now Sister
<br />Mary Margaret of the Order of Presentation Nuns, the sum of Ten Dollars.
<br />Eighth, All the remainder and residue of my property of whatsoever kind or nature, both real
<br />and personal, after the payment of the above bequests, debts, and legacies, I give, devise, and
