<br />8. I give, bequeath and devise all the remainder of my property to my two children, Ruth Barton
<br />and Roy H.Barton, to be divided between them equally. It is my desire however that my said daughter
<br />shall have the privilete if she so desires of taking the town property in which I now reside in
<br />Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, at the price of $2,000.00. It is also my desire that my said son, Roy H..Barton,
<br />have the privilege if he desires of taking the farm on which he now resides and known as the Rogers
<br />farm in Tippecanoe Township, Henry County, Iowa, and consisting of about 113 acres at the price of
<br />$5000.00.
<br />9. 1 hereby authorize the executor herein appointed to make sale of any real estate of which I may
<br />die seized and which is not selected and chosen by my-two children under the provisions of the pre-
<br />ceding paragraph, such sale to be made without special order of court but after appraisement. And
<br />I authorize him to make conveyance for any real estate thus sold.
<br />10. I hereby nominate and appoint my brother, D.S.Barton, as executor of this my last Will and
<br />Testament.
