<br />but not unmindful of the uncertainties of human life do hereby make, publish and declare this my
<br />last will and testament, hereby revolting all former wills by me made.

<br />I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid out of my estate.

<br />To my beloved son, Edward E.Brittin, he having received from me the sum of Four Thousand ($4,000.00)
<br />Dollars, heretofore, I bequeath the sum of One (1) Dollar.

<br />To my beloved grandchildren, Edna L.Brittin & Ray E.Brittin, childrOn of my deceased son, Frederick
<br />M.Brittin, I, hereby give, devise and bequeath the following described real estate:
<br />Lot 12, and the East 20 feet of Lot 11, in Block I1, in the Union Racific Railway Company's First
<br />Addition to the town of Wood River, Nebraska,
<br />to be theirs in fee simple, share and share alike.

<br />To my beloved daughter, Letitia B.Thompson, I hereby give, devise and bequeath the following des-
<br />cribed real estate: in Hall County, Nebraska:
<br />The East 32 rods of the East Half of the Northwest quarter and the East 32 rods of the Northeast
<br />quarter of the Southwest quarter, both in Section 13, township 9 North,Range 12 best of the 6th
<br />P.M. containing approximately 48 acres.,
<br />to her and her heirs forever in fee simple.

<br />To my beloved son, Benjamin L.Brittin, I hereby give, devise and bequeath the following described
<br />real estate: In Hall County, Nebraska:
<br />Commencing at a point on the South line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Sec-
<br />tion 13, Township 9 North,Range 12 West of the 6th P.M., 32 rods West of the Southeast corner of
<br />said 40 acres, running thence North 240 rods parallel to the North and south half section line
<br />to the North line of said section, running thence West on the North line of said section 3 rods,
<br />thence South parallel to the North and South half section line SO rods, thence West parallel to
<br />the North line of said Section 45 rods to the West line of the East half of the Northwest quarter,
<br />thence South 160 rods along the West line of the East half of the West half of said section to the
<br />Southwest corner of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said section, thence East
<br />49 rods to the place of beginning.
<br />to him and his heirs forever in fee simple.

<br />The rest and residue of my estate of any and all natures whatsoever, and wheresoever situated,
<br />I give, devise and bequeath as follows, to -wit:
