<br />IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN.
<br />I, August Deisel of Peru in the County of LaSalle and State of Illinois, being of sound mind and
<br />memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, or-
<br />dain, publish and declare, this to be my last WLLL and TESTAMENT:
<br />FIRST, I order and direct that my Executrix hereinafter named, pay all my dust debts and funeral
<br />expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
<br />SECOND, After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts,I give, devise and begueatht dn'to-my
<br />beloved Wife, Mary Deisel all the property,real and personal, and effects of every name and nature
<br />which I now have, may die possessed of, or may be entitled to, her heirs and assigns forever.
<br />THIRD, I do by this, my Will, dispose of the custody and tuition of my Children, who shall be
<br />minors at and after my decease, during their minority, to my dear Wife and do hereby appoint her
<br />their Guardian.
<br />FOURTH, ,1 do hereby make, constitute and appoint my Wife, Mary Deisel, sole Executrix of this,
<br />MY last Will and Testament, and it is my wish, and I do hereby request that she may not be com-
<br />pelled to give and bond or security as such Executrix, or as Guardian, and that she may settle
<br />the estate in her own gr=ay, and sell any or all of the real or personal estate, at public or private
<br />sale, as she may think best, and pay the debts without being compelled to accouAtt.to the County
<br />or any other Court; and I do hereby revoke all and every former Will by me make.
<br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the Seventeenth day of
<br />December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Ninety six.
