<br />That the said Charlotta Svensen named by said testatrix as a sister of said testatrix of "Sweden"
<br />predeceased said testatrix, having died on January 1, 1913, unmarried and without leaving issue
<br />her surviving; said Last Will and Testament hereinbefore mentioned, being in words and figures
<br />following:
<br />IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN:
<br />I, Augusta Bruchmann, of Grand Island,Nebraska, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life,
<br />and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be God for the same, do make and publish this my last
<br />Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say:
<br />FIRST
<br />I direct that my funeral charges, the expense of administering my estate and all my debts be paid
<br />out of my personal property. If that be insufficient I authorize my executor, hereinafter named,
<br />to sell so much of my real estate as may be necessary for that purpose.
<br />SECOND.
<br />I give, bequeath and devise all the residue of my estate, real and personal to my brother, Sven
<br />Peter Svensen of Sweden, and to my sisters Helen Svensen of Philadelphia, Johanna Esenberger of
<br />Winthrop,Minnesota, Charlotta Svensen of Sweden, and the heirs of my deceased sister, Anna Lise
<br />Svensen, share and share alike as tenants in common, the heirs of my said deceased sister, Anna
<br />Lise, shall have just one fifth of my estate and no more and my brother and each of my three living
<br />sisters shall each have one fifth of my estate and no more.
<br />In case any one of my said legatees shall die in my life time, leaving issue or descendants I
<br />direct that his or her share shall not lapse, but shall be paid to such descendants in equal
<br />proportions, but if either one of my legatees named herein shall die in my life time without legal
<br />issue, then his or her share shall be divided and descend as the law would direct if such death
<br />had taken place after my death. The above and foregoing gift, bequest and devise includes all
<br />the property I own at the time of my death both real and personal.
<br />Third, I appoint John R.Thompson of Grand Island,Nebraska, executor of this my last will and testa-
<br />ment hereby revoking all former wills by me made
