<br />SHORT WILL
<br />. No. 7 HALL COUNTY
<br />IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN
<br />I, John Schaupdach of Grand Island in the County of Hall, State of Nebraska, being of sound mind
<br />and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make,
<br />ordain, publish and declare this to be my last WILL AND TESTAMENT:
<br />FIRST, I order a- nd.direct that my Executor and Executorix hereinafter named, pay all my just debts
<br />and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
<br />SECOND, After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts, I give, devise and bequeath unto my
<br />beloved ABertha Schaupdach all my personal property of every kind, and to her a life estate in and
<br />too all my real estates that I may be now possessed or to come to be possessed of.
<br />Third. I give, devise and bequeath to my sons Willie Schaupdach, Alfred Schaupdach, Christ SchaupR
<br />dash', Emil Schaupdach, John Schaupdach Jr., all my realest&t�s.of which I am now possessed or to
<br />come to be possessed of, subject however to life estate granted my wife in the second paragraph and
<br />subject to any liens that may be on the premises at my demis which the foregoing sons shall assume
<br />and agree to pay as their several interests may appear.
<br />Fourth. All my real estate of which I am possessed shall be appraised by the Joint executors and
<br />a non interested party selected by the executors and the appraisement shall then be divided into
<br />seven parts, a.X my five sons shall receivd for their share land to equal their share according to
<br />the appraisement less the indebitness, and shall pay to my two daughters in cash in 5 yearly pay-
<br />ments their -pro rate share of my estate.
<br />Fifth, my daughters to whom I give devise and beauetth as above are, Laura Schaupdach, and Clara
<br />Schaupdach.
<br />Sixth. The sum or sums that my sons are to pay to my wife Bertha Schaupdach, covering her life
<br />estate in my land holding shall be left to her descression and determined on the 1st Day of March
<br />each year during her interest in the the several premisses.
<br />LASTLY, I makq, constitute and appoint Bertha Schaupdach and First National Bank Grand Island to
<br />be Executorix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by
<br />me made.
<br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the 31st day of
<br />December, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and twenty -six.

<br />20th day of June, 1936, the instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of John Schaup-
<br />dach, deceased, was filed for probate in this Court. That on the 3rd day of September 1936, said
<br />instrument to which this certificate is attached was duly proved, probated and allowed as the last
<br />quest, have subscribed our names thereto as
<br />witnesses, in his presence, and in
