<br />SHORT WILL
<br />IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN

<br />I, Julia Kilkenney, of Jackson Township in the County of Hall State of Nebraska, being of sound
<br />mind and memory and considering the undertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore
<br />ordain, publish and declare this to be my last WILL AND TESTAMENT:
<br />FIRST, I order and direct that my Executor hereinafter named, pay all my just debts and funeral
<br />{ expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
<br />SECOND, After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts, I give devise and bequeath to Mamie
<br />Stratton "my daughter" The North half of the North East Quarter of Section Numbered Thirty two,
<br />Township Numbered Ten North of Range Numbered Twelve West of the Sixth P.M., Hall Co., Nebraska,
<br />To John Stratton my son the North half of the North West Quarter of Section Numbered Six, in Town•

<br />ship Numbered Nine North of Range Numbered Twelve West of the Sixth P.M. Hall Co. Nebraska.
<br />To Julia Woods my daughter Five Hundred Dollars : --
<br />To Margaret Rouse my daughter Five Hundred Dollars - --
<br />To Katherne Boyce my daughter Five Hundred Dollars --
<br />To the legal decendants of Anna Whittaker (my daughter now deceased) Five Hundred Dollars -- In
<br />cas my personal property is not sufficient to carry out the provisions of this Will, it shall be
<br />the duty of John and Mamie Stratton to furnish equally sufficient funds to carry out the provisi
<br />of this will. In case of any excess funds from my personal property, it shall be divided equally
<br />among all my legal heirs.
<br />LASTLY, I make, constitute and appoint George W.Smith to be Executor of this my last Will and
<br />Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
<br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the 4 day of March
<br />in the year of our Lord, one thousand, nine hundred and twenty one.

<br />day of November 1921, the instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of Julia Kilkeni
<br />deceased, was filed for probate in this Court. That on the 9th day of January, 1922, said instrum,
<br />to which this certificate is attached was duly proved, probated and allowed as the last will and
<br />testament of the real personal estate of said Julia Kilkenney, deceased, and the same was ordered
<br />to be recorded in the records of the Court aforesaid.
