<br />I WILL AND DECREE.
<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF WILHELM SPLINTER
<br />I, Wilhelm Splinter, of Grand Island, Nebraska, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make
<br />publish and declare this my last will and testament, as follows:
<br />FIRST.
<br />I direct that all of my just debts, including the expenses of my last sickness and burial, be fir
<br />paid out of my estate.
<br />SECOND.
<br />I give and bequeath my gold watch and chain which I now own to my son, Wilhelm Splinter, of
<br />Lincoln, Nebraska.
<br />THIRD.
<br />I give and bequeath unto my wife, Emma Splinter, all of my household furniture.
<br />FOURTH.
<br />I give, devise, and bequeath unto my wife, Emma Splinter, my real estate (the home on 4th Street
<br />where we now live) to have and to hold the same during the period of her natural life, or as long
<br />as she remains my widow; and thereafter title to said real estate shall vest in my daughter
<br />A melia Mattke, or in case of the death of the said Amelia Mattke prior-to the death or marriage
<br />t
<br />of my said wife Emma Splinter, then title to said real estate shall vest in the children of said
<br />i
<br />Amelia Mattke in equal shares.
<br />FIFTH.
<br />I give and bequeath to my daughter, Minnie Greb, (formerly Splinter) the sum of Twenty -five
<br />($25.00) Dollars, to be paid to her in the due course of the administration of my estate.
<br />SIXTH.
<br />All of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal, and mixed, and wheresoever
<br />situate, I give, devise, and bequeath, in equal shares, to my other children and my wife as fol-
<br />lows:

<br />August Splinter, Wilhelm Splinter, Augusta Stevens (formerly Splinter,) and Amelia Mattke (former�y
<br />Splinter) and Emma Splinter, and I direct that in case of the death of any of my said children

<br />named in this clause of my will, prior to my death, leaving issue or descendants him or her sur-
<br />viving, then and in such case his or her share shall pass and be paid to such of my children as
<br />are named in this clause of my will as survives me, in equal shares, and shall not pass to my
<br />grandchildren.
<br />SEVENTH.
<br />I name, nominate, and appoint, William Suhr, Attorney of Grand Island, Nebraska, Executor of this
