<br />ido make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following; that is to say:
<br />First:
<br />I direct that my funeral expenses, the expenses of my last sickness, the expenses of administering'
<br />my estate and all of my just debts be paid out of my personal property, should that be insufficienj
<br />for that purpose I direct that so much of my real estate as may be necessary for that purpose be
<br />sold.
<br />Second:
<br />I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Meta Catharina Guelzow, for and during the term
<br />of her natural life, all the real estate of which I shall die seised, and more particularly des -
<br />cribed as follows: The North Test Quarter (N.W.1) of Section Thirty -four (34), the South West
<br />Quarter (S.W.J) of the South West Quarter (S.W.J) of Section Twenty Seven (27) and the North Half
<br />N.J) of the North West Quarter (N.W.4) of Section Thirty Three (33) all being in Township Eleven
<br />(11) North of Range Nine (9) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Nebraska, in Hall County,
<br />Nebraska.
<br />Third:
<br />I give, devise and bequeath to my son Hans Heinrich Guelzow the West Half of the North West
<br />Quarter (W.2 of N.W.g) of Section Thirty -Four (34), the South West Quarter (S.W.;) of the South
<br />West Quarter (S.W.) of Section Twenty Seven (27) and the North East Quarter (N.E.1) of the North
<br />West Quarter (N.W.1) of Section Thirty Three (33) all being in Township Eleven (11) North of
<br />Range Nine (9) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Nebraska, in Hall County, Nebraska, to
<br />have and to hold,the same to himself and to his heirs and assigns forever, subject, however to
<br />the life estate of my said wife as set forth in the Second paragraph or item of this Mill;
<br />Provided, however, should my said son, Hans Heinrich Guelzow die prior to the decease of my said
<br />wife; then and in that case I give, devise and bequeath all of the said real estate mentioned in
<br />this paragraph or item to my son Wilhelm Nicolaus Guelzow, to have and to hold the same to himself
<br />and to his heirs and assigns forever, subject however, to the Life estate of my said wife as set
<br />forth in the Second paragraph or item of this Will.
<br />Fourth:
<br />I give, devise and bequeath to my son Wilhelm Nicolaus Guelzow the East half of the North West
<br />Quarter (E.1 of N.W.a) of Section Thirty Four (34) and the North West Quarter (N.W.4) of the,North
<br />West Quarter (N.W.4) of Section Thirty Three (33) all being in Township Eleven North of Range Nine
<br />(9) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Nebraska, in Hall County, Nebraska, to have and to
<br />hold the same to himself and to his heirs and assigns forever, subject however to the life estate
<br />in said land of my said wife as set forth in the Second paragraph or item of this Will; Provided
<br />however, should my said son Hans Heinrich Guelzow die before my said wife (in which case Wilhelm
<br />Nicolaus Guelzow gets the land mentioned in the Third paragraph or item of this Will) then and in,i

<br />that case I give, devise and bequeath all of the real estate mentioned in this item or paragraph
<br />to the heirs of the body of my son Hans Heinrich Guelzow, subject, however, to the life estate of
<br />my wife in said land.
<br />Fifth:
<br />I give, devise and bequeath to each of my six daughters, viz: Christine Margaretha Matthiesen,
<br />Minna Catharina Husmann, Emma Rosetta Guelzow, Maria Johanna Guelzow, Rosa Amanda Guelzow, and
<br />Anna Dorothea Guelzow the sum of Two hundred Dollars, to be paid to them within One Year after
<br />death of my wife, without _interest.
<br />Sixth:
<br />I direct that upon my death my Executors, hereinafter named, shall take possession of all cash
<br />money, notes, certificates of deposit or other securities owned by me and after paying such items
<br />as are mentioned in the First paragraph of this Will, they shall invest the same and keep it in-
