<br />WILL AND DECREE.
<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF AUGUST HAMANN
<br />I, August Hamann, of Lake Township, in Hall County, Nebraska, being of sound mind and disposing
<br />memory, do make and publish this, my last will and testament, in the manner and form following,
<br />that is to say: -
<br />FIRST.
<br />I direct that my just debts, if any, and the expenses attending my burial, be first paid.
<br />SECOND
<br />I give and devise to my beloved wife, Lena Hamann, in the event she survives me, the life use of
<br />the south half of the northeast quarter and the southeast quarter of Section Twenty -nine (29), in
<br />Township Twelve (12) North, Range Nine (9),West, in Hall County, Nebraska. I also give and be-
<br />queath to my said wife, in the event she survives me, all of the personal property, of whatsoever
<br />nature, of which I shall die the owner. The above provisions in favor of my said wife to be in
<br />lieu of all her rights in and to my estate under the laws in force at the'time of my death.
<br />THIRD.
<br />I give and bequeath to my beloved daughters, Louisa Hongsermeier, Clara Kneffelkamp, Emma Horst,
<br />Alice Dankert, and Margaret Hamann, the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) each, to be paid to
<br />them by my sons, Fred Hamann, William Hamann, and Henry Hamann, within eighteen months after my
<br />death, as in Paragraphs 4th,5th,and 6th, herein provided. It being my intention that the payments
<br />required in Paragraphs 4th,5th,and 6th, hereof shall provide the payments in this paragraph re-
<br />quired.
<br />FOURTH.
<br />Subject only to the life estate devised to my said wife, Lena Hamann, in the second paragraph here
<br />of, I give and devise to my son, Fred Hamann, the south half of the northeast quarter of Section
<br />Twenty -nine (29),in Township Twelve (12) North, Range Nine (9) West, in Hall County, Nebraska, .
<br />charged, however, with the payment to my daughters, Louisa Hongsermeier, Clara Kneffelkamp, Emma
<br />Horst, Alice Danker, and Margaret Hamann, of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) each, within
<br />eighteen months after my death.
<br />FIFTH.
<br />Subject to the life estate devised to my said wife, Lena Hamann, in the second paragraph hereof,
<br />I give and devised to my son, William Hamann, the north half of the southeast quarter of Section
<br />Twenty -nine (29), in Township Twelve (12),North, Range Nine (9) West, in Hall County, Nebraska,

<br />charged, however, with the payment to my daughters, Louisa Hongsermeier, Clara Kneffelkamp, Emma
<br />Horst, Alice Dankert, and Margaret Hamann, of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) each, wit

<br />SIXTH.
<br />Subject only to the life estate devised to my wife, Lena Hamann, in the second paragraph hereof,
<br />I give and devised to my son, Henry Hamann, the south half of the southeast quarter of Section
<br />Twenty -nine (29), in Township Twleve (12) North, Range Nine (9) West, in Hall County, Nebraska,
<br />charged, however, with the payment to my daughters, Louisa Hongsermeier, Clara Kneffelkamp, Emma
<br />Horst, Alice Dankert, and Margaret Hamann, of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) each, with
<br />eighteen months after my death.
<br />SEVENTH
<br />I nominate and appoint Fred Hamann, my oldest son, as executor of this will, and request that he
<br />be not required to furnish surety on his offieal bond as such.
