<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF FRITZ HORST.
<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That I, Fritz Horst, of Grand Island, Nebraska, being of sound
<br />mind and disposing mem ory, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament.
<br />FIRST: I direct that my Executrix, hereinafter named, shall pay all of my debts and expense of
<br />my last sickness out of my personal property.
<br />SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Mary Horst, all of my property, both
<br />real and personal, and wherever situated and possessed by me at the time of my death, she to have
<br />the use, income and profit thereof during her natural lifetime, In the event that it should becon
<br />necessary for her to use any of my estate, in addi -tion to the life income herewith granted to her,
<br />I direct that she shall have authority to use as much of my estate as she may deem necessary.
<br />THIRD: At the death of my beloved wife, Mary Horst, and subject to her life estate, I give,
<br />devise and bequeath to my beloved son, Ernest Horst, all of the Southeast Quarter (SEJ) of Sectior
<br />ie
<br />Nineteen (19), Toimship Ten (10), Range Eight (S) in Hamilton County, Nebraska, I direct, however,
<br />that the said Ernest Horst shall pay to each of my three daughters, Emma Grote, Edith Hoppold and
<br />Ella Hongsermeier the sum of Fifteen Hundred ($1500.00) Dollars,each, and the payment of the same
<br />shall constitute a lien on the land hereby bequeathed to the said Ernest Horst until said legacie
<br />shall have been paid, and I direct that said legacies shall be paid within six months after the
<br />death of my beloved wife, Mary Horst.
<br />FOURTH: I give, devise, and bequeath unto my beloved son, William Horst, at the death of my Belo e
<br />wife, Mary Horst, and subject to her life estate, all of the Northwest Quarter (NWJ) of Section
<br />Thirty (30) Township Ten (10) Range Eight (S) in Hamilton County, Nebraska. I direct, however,
<br />that the said'William Horst shall pay to each of my three daughters, Emma Grote, Edith Hoppold, alld
<br />Ella Hongsermeier, the sum of Fifteen Hundred ($1500,00) Dollars, each, and the payment of the same
<br />shall constitute a lien on the land hereby bequeathed to the said William Horst until said legacies
<br />shall have been paid, and I direct that said legacies shall be paid within six months after the
