<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMWNT OF CHARITY MCKNIGHT.

<br />`I, Charity McKnight, a widow, residing in the county of Hall and State of Nebraska, being of sound
<br />mind and memory, but mindful of the uncertainty of life, do make, publish and declare this my last
<br />`wlll and testament, that is to say;
<br />ITEM FIRST-
<br />!
<br />`It is my will and wish that all my just debts and the expenses of my last sickness and burial be
<br />!first fully paid and satisfied.
<br />ITEM SECOND.
<br />'I give, ddvise and bequeath unto my daughter, Eva Conway, and to my grand daughter, Mabel Kaufman,
<br />child of my deceased daughter, Ella McKnight Kaufman, my home place to -wit: Lots Nine (9) and
<br />Eleven (11) in Block Sixteen (16) in University Place, an addition to the city of Grand Island in
<br />Ksaid Hall County, to have and to hold the same share and share alike in fee simple absolute as
<br />j tenants in common, provided that in the event either of them shall die childless before my death,
<br />,' he survivor shall take the entire estate, but in the.event either of them shall die before I do
<br />leaving a child or children surviving, then such surviving child or children shall take the share
<br />sits parent would have taken if living,

<br />ITEM THIRD.
<br />Having assisted my other children, Grant McKnight, William McKnight, deceased, and his children
<br />Harold McKnight and Ruth McKnight to the best of my pbillty, no provision is made for them or eith r
<br />lof them in this my last will and testament.
<br />ITEM FOURTH.
<br />hereby make my said devisees, Eva Conway and Mabel Kaufman my sole residuary legatees and devises.
<br />ITEM FIFTH.
<br />I hereby nominate and appoint my said daughter, Eva Conway, my sole executrix and request that she
<br />be not required to give any bond as such executrix.
<br />Hereby revoking and annulling all former wills by me made, I declare the above and foregoing con-
<br />sisting of two sheets typewritten on one side only and the margin whereof I have also subscribed mN
<br />to be my last will and testament.
