<br />sickness, be paid out of my personal property as soon after my decease as conveniently may be
<br />Third, I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Dora Nietfeld, a one -third interest in
<br />all of my property, real, personal or mixed, to have and to hold to her and her heirs forever.
<br />In addition thereto, I give and bequeath unto my said wife the use and benefit of all of my remail
<br />ing property, real, personal or mixed, for and during her natural life with remainder over, as
<br />hereinafter provided; provided, however, that in the event my said wife remarry, then and in such
<br />event I order and direct that the life estate of my wife in and to the remaining two- thirds of my
<br />said estate be terminated and come to an end, and that the said remainder be immediately disposed
<br />of according to the provisions hereinafter made. The intention of this third paragraph being to
<br />give my wife a one -third interest in all of my property and in addition thereto, the income, use
<br />and benefit of the remaining two- thirds for life, but if she should remarry, then the income, use
<br />and benefit of the two - thirds remainder is to cease, and said remainder is to be distributed imme(
<br />iately upon such marriage to my children in the proportions herein directed. It is my order
<br />that my executor hereinbefore named, invest the said remaining two- thirds of my estate in interest
<br />bearing securities and to pay the income of same to my wife as long.as she lives, or until she
<br />remarries, in which latter event, to pay the same, together with the principal, to the legatees
<br />hereinafter named as hereinbefore provided.
<br />Fourth, I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved children, Lena Thompson, Clara Coleman,
<br />Catherina Kroeger, Margaret Roennfeldt, Diederich Nietfeld, Junior, Emma Nietfeld, Lydia Nietfeld
<br />and Louise Nietfeld, the aforesaid two- thirds remainder of my estate, subject to a defensible life
<br />estate therein in my wife as hereinbefore provided, to have and to hold to them and their heirs
<br />forever, share and share alike. All of the rest, residue and remainder of my property real,
<br />personal or mixed, which I now have, or may hereafter acquire, and not hereinbefore disposed of,
<br />I give, devise and bequeath unto my said children, share and share alike.
<br />Fifth; I hereby revoke arq and all former wills by me made.
