<br />to my said nephew, Herbert A.Schroeder, I give and devise the East Half of the Northeast Qua.rte
<br />(E-lgNE4) of Section One (1), in Township Eleven North, Range Nine (9), Hall County, Nebraska, and
<br />the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NW4NW4) of Section Six (6), in Township Eleven (
<br />North, Range Eight (9) in Merrick County, Nebraska, to him and to his heirs and assigns forever.
<br />To my dearly beloved niece, Elenora Schroeder Anderson, wife of said Lawrence Anderson, I give a
<br />bequeath the sum of $10,000.00 (Ten Thousand and no /100 Dollars)
<br />To my nieces, Mrs. Minnie Wiese and Mrs. Emma Potts, each I give $100.00.
<br />To Elsie Kutz, the daughter of my deceased niece Helena Schroeder Kutz, I give $100.00.
<br />To Loraine Schroeder, the daughter of my deceased nephew, Albert Schroeder, I give and bequeath

<br />which I hold, executed by Henry Rosenkoeter, which amounts to $1000.00 or more. The interest
<br />arising out of said note shall be used for the use and benefit of said Loraine in her bringing
<br />To my nephew Walter Schroeder, I give all the promissory notes of his, which I hold with the se
<br />curities belonging to said notes. This amounts to $2000.00 or more.
<br />To my nephew Arnold Schroeder, I give $1000.00.
<br />To my nephew Ernest Schroeder, I give $2000.00.
<br />To my nephew Arnold Benthien, the son of my sister Amalia, residing in Germany, I give and be-
<br />queath $2000.00.
<br />To my nephew Emil Benthien, son of my sister Amalia, residing in Germany, I give and bequeath
<br />$2000.00
<br />All of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, wherever the same may or might be situated,
<br />hhall be divided into -nine (9) equal parts, and I give one part each to the above named, Elsie
<br />Kutz, Arnold Schroeder, Walter Schroeder, Ernest Schroeder, Loraine Schroeder, Emma Potts, Minni
<br />Wiese, Arnold Benthien and Emil Benthien. In the event that any person named in this will shoul
<br />contest the same or cause the same to be contested, or be a party to such contest, such person
<br />shall receive instead of the legacy herein given, the sum of $20.00 and no more, and the balance
<br />of the legacy given such person, shall become a part of the residue of my estate and go into nin
<br />parts as above set out.
