<br />(Frieda Buckow, Herman Buckow, Emil Buckow, Alex Buckow, Alma Buckow and Bertha Buckow, and to
<br />any child or children that my be hereafter.born to or of the body of said Matilda Buckow, my
<br />said daughter, the South West Quarter (S.W.J) of Section Numbered Two (2) in Township Numbered)
<br />Twelve (12) North of Range Numbered Nine (9) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Nebraska,)
<br />jin Hall Coutty,Nebraska, to have and to hold the same to themselves and to their heirs and
<br />assigns forever, share and share alike; Subject however, to the life estate therein.of my said
<br />'wife,Sophia Guenther, as set forth in Item Second hereof,,and subject further to the right of

<br />of in any manner until the youngest one of the aforesaid grand - children shall have attained th

<br />depart this life prior to the time when said youngest child shall have attained the age of
<br />twenty- -one years, leaving surviving her, her husband.Chris Buckow, then I direct that he, the
<br />said Chris Buckow, shall have the use of said land until said youngest child hhall have attained
<br />the age of twenty-one years.
<br />Item Fourth:
<br />I give, devise and bequeath to my grand - children, children of my deceased daughter, Amelia
<br />Freeland, namely, Walter Freeland, Root Freeland and Lucy Freeland, the,North west Quarter
<br />(N.W.J) of Section Two (2) in Township Numbered Twelve (12) North of Range Numbered Nine (9)
<br />West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Nebraska, in Hall County, Nebraska, also any and all
<br />real estate I may own in Grand Island,Hall Oounty,Nebraska, at the time of my decease , to
<br />have and to hold the same to themselves and to their heirs and assigns forever, share and
<br />share alike; subject,however, to the life estate of my said wife Sophia Guenther, in and to
<br />all of said real estate as provided in Item Second hereof: And provided further that the
<br />father of said children,John C.Freeland, shall have the right to the use of all of said real
<br />estate after the decease of my said wife; Sophia Guenther, until said youngest child of my
<br />said deceased daughter Amelia Freeland, mentioned in this item, shall have attained the age of
<br />twenty -one years: And provided further, that upon thg said youngest of the Freeland children
<br />having attained-the age of twenty -one years, the said real estate in Grand Island shall be
<br />valued by appraisal or sale and the said three Freeland children shall have of said value the
<br />sum of Eight Thousand Dollars ($9000.00) and should the same be worth or valued at more than
<br />Night Thousand ($5000.00) Dollars, then of all there shall be over and above said sum of Eigh
<br />Thousand ($9000.00) Dollars, one -half (J) thereof shall be paid to or given to the children
<br />my said daughter, Matilda Buckow, mentioned in the Third Item hereof and One -half (1) shall
<br />paid to or given to the children of my said daughter F,melia Freeland, now deceased, named in
<br />this Item hereof. The intention being to give to the Freeland children the sum of $9000.00
<br />out of the real estate in Grand Island,Nebraska, as I value the South West Quarter of Section
<br />Two, 12,9, West given in Item Third hereof to the-Buckow children that much more than I do the
<br />North nest Quarter of Section Two,12,9, given in this Item to the Freeland children and I wi
<br />to give the children of my two daughters property of equal value.
<br />Item Fifth:
<br />It shall be the duty of each one to whom the possession or use of property is herein given fa
<br />life to pay all taxes on all property in their possession, to keep the same properly insured,
<br />and to pay the expenses of said insurance and to keep said property in repair, and not to ally
<br />any waste on the premises so that the same may go to the devisees in fee in as good condition
<br />as the same is left by me.
