<br />with and two rods East of the West line of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter 66 rods,
<br />thence East at right angles 416 feet, thence North 241 feet to the North line of said Section,'
<br />thence East to place of beginning. This forty acres (approximately) shall be kept as a home
<br />for the four children above named and shall not be subject to forced sale or partition sale or``
<br />other sale by judicial proceedings so long as any of said children are aline and unmarried,
<br />unless all four of them are willing and consent. Should any one or more of the said four child;-
<br />ren sell his, her or their interests, while any of the other four children remain unmarried,
<br />the use, enjoyment, rents and profits of said home forty acres shall vest in and belong exclus*
<br />ively to the rest of the four children who have not sold or conveyed their respective interesto
<br />therein as long as they or any of them remain unmarried.
<br />Should any of said four children die before me leaving no descendant or descendants, her him
<br />(( or them surviving, the survivors shall take said home forty acres subject to the conditions
<br />hereinbefore provided.
<br />Item Five: I give and devise to my daughter, Clara Hagge, fractional Lots Six (6), Seven (7)
<br />and Eight (8), in Block One Hundred Forty -eight (148), in Union Pacific Railway Company's
<br />Second Addition to the City of Grand Island, in Hall County, Nebraska, and I also bequeath to
<br />my daughter, Clara, the personal property of which I die possessed, which consists of cash,
<br />bank account and my personal and household articles. The personal property on the farm, machinery,
<br />stock and utensils, belong to my sons.

<br />All of my children are equal in my affection, but my daughter, Clara, and my sons have never
<br />married and have no home except mine; they have worked and used their earnings and efforts to
<br />build up and improve the home forty acres and have made a home for me in my declining years
<br />and in this respect have done more than the other children who have been away and married and
<br />while all of my children are alike dear to me, still I have felt it my duty to leave my four
<br />- i
<br />unmarried children more than the others to compensate them for their services and expenditures''
<br />on the h6me forty acres and to insure a home for them. My daughter Clara has always remained
<br />at home and worked and I have felt it my duty to make this additional provision for her in
<br />Item five. I hope my children will see it in this light and that their relations will always
<br />continue harmonious.
<br />Item Six: I nominate and appoint my daughter, Emma Behrens and my son, William Hagge, as
<br />executrix and executor of my estate.
