-55 <br />FINAL DECREE <br />IN THE COUNTY COURT OF HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA. <br />IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE ) <br />OF D E C R E E. <br />6 <br />WILLIAM J.LIKES,D EASED. <br />Now on this 13th day of May, 1930, this cause came on for hearing upon the petition of Albert <br />II <br />M.Adams heretofore filed herein, praying that the Court determine and find the date of the <br />death of the said William J.Likes, deceased; that the said William J.Likes. died intestate; <br />I <br />that the heirs at-law of the said William J.Likes be determined by the Court and their respective <br />degree of kinship fixed, and that the right of descent of the real estate of the said William <br />t <br />J.Likes, deceased, be determined, and it appearing to the Court, from the proofs on file, that <br />due and legal notice by publication has been given, as by law and the order of this Court <br />required, to all creditors, heirs and persons interested in the estate of said deceased, of th <br />ii <br />time of the filing of said petition, and of the time and place fixed for the hearing thereon, <br />which time was for more than thirty days and less than sixty days after the filing of said <br />it <br />petition, and there being no objections thereto, said cause was duly submitted to the Court <br />upon the petition and the evidence produced by the petitioner in support thereof, and the <br />Court being fully advised in the premises finds that the said William J.Likes died intestate j <br />at Wood River, Nebraska, and that at the time of his death the said William J.Likes was a <br />ll <br />resident and inhabitant of Wood River in Hall County, Nebraska; that the said William J.Likes <br />died seized of an estate of inheritance in real estate, located in Hall County, Nebraska, con -! <br />sisting of the ownership in fee simple of an undivided one - twelfth interest in and to the Eastl <br />Half of the Northwest Quarter (E- yNWJ), and the West Half of the Northeast Quarter (WTNEJ) of <br />Section Sixteen (16), Township Ten (10), Range Eleven (11) in Hall County, Nebraska; that morel <br />I!, <br />than fifteen years have elapsed since the death of the said William J.Likes, and that no <br />application has ever been made in the State of Nebraska for the appointment of an administrator <br />of his estate, nor has administration upon the estate of the said William J.Likes,deceased, <br />,I <br />ever been had in the State of Nebraska; that the petitioner herein is now the owner of all of <br />the following described premises: The East Half of the Northwest Quarter (E -NWJ) and the West <br />Half of the Northeast Quarter (W2NEJ) of Section 16,Township 10, Range 11, in Hall County, <br />Nebraska, and is a competent and proper person to institute and prosecute this proceeding. (� <br />The court further finds that -the said William J.Likes left surviving him his mother,Mary B. <br />Likes; that the said William J.Likes was nine years of age at the time of his death; that i <br />he was never married, and left no surviving child or children, and that under the laws of the I( <br />i <br />State of Nebraska, then in force, the real estate hereinbefore described passed and descended <br />to his mother,Mary B.Likes. <br />The court further finds that the said William J.Likes,deceased, left a personal estate suffi- <br />cient to pay his funeral expenses and debts, and that such funeral expenses and debts have it <br />been fully'paid; that if any debts existed against the estate of the said William J.Likes, <br />,I <br />deceased, such debts are long since barred by the Statute of Limitations and are now forever <br />barred and precluded, and the court further finds that the costs of this proceeding have been <br />paid in full. <br />The court further finds that at the death of the said William J.Likes,said real estate herein - <br />before described, was of the value of $1600.00 and that it is now of the gross value of <br />$1600.00. <br />IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED by the Court that the said William J.Likes died� <br />
