<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF
<br />HEINRICH VON Ohlen, GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA.
<br />IN THE NAME OF GOD,AMEN.
<br />I, HEINRICH Von OHLEN, of Grand Island,Hall County, Nebraska,being of sound mind, memory and
<br />understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time hereof, an
<br />being desirous to settle my worldly affairs, and thereby be the better prepared to leave thi
<br />world when it shall please the Almighty to call me hence, do therefore make and publish this
<br />my last Will and Testament,hereby revoking and annulling all Wills by me heretofore made, in
<br />manner and form following, that is to say:
<br />FIRST, and principally, I comit my soul into the hands of Almighty God, and my body to the
<br />earth, to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named; and my Wil
<br />'his, that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named
<br />as soon after my decease as shall be convenient:
<br />SECOND, I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Clara Von Ohlen, for her own exclusive use and!
<br />benefit,during her life -time, the following described property situated in Hall County, Nebras a
<br />to- wit; - Commencing at the South East Corner of Section Eleven (11) Township Eleven (11) Range j;
<br />Nine (9),west of the 6th P.M., thence running north 80 rods: thence west 21 rods; thence sout�
<br />SO rods; thence East 21 rods to the point of beginning, containing ten and one -half acres (1011
<br />more or less. Also Lot Three (3) Block Four (4) Hanns Second Addition to the City of Grand
<br />Island,Nebraska. At the death of my said wife, I direct that the above described property
<br />shall descend to my son, Walter Von Ohlen.
<br />THIRD, I give,devise and bequeath to my said wife, Clara. Von Ohlen, to have and to hold for he
<br />own exclusive use and benefit,with the exceptions hereinafter stated,all the rest and residue
<br />of any real estate of which I may die seized,and the income from all personal property of what
<br />soever nature, with exceptions hereinafter stated.
<br />FOURTH, After the death of my said wife Clara Von Ohlen, or in the year 1930, in case my wife
<br />bhall be living at that time, I direct that the following real estate shall descend to my donl
<br />Richard Von Ohlen, to -wit:- The South East quarter of the South East Quarter and the North
<br />East quarter of the South East Quarter (SE�SE+ and NE +SEJ) and the South East quarter of the I�

<br />North East quarter (SE,NE +) of Section Twenty -one (21) Township Thirteen (13) Range Eight (9)I
<br />West of the 6th P.M.,Merrick County, Nebraska,but my said son Richard VonOhlen,shall, at the

<br />time of receiving the above described real estate, at once pay in cash the sum of One Thousand
<br />Dollars ($1000.00) to my son Walter Von Ohlen.

<br />FIFTH, My son Emil R.VonOhlen, has this day executed a real estate mortgage covering the NEk it
<br />of Sec. 22, Twp. 13, Range 9,west of the 6th P.M.Merrick County,Nebraska,running to Heinrich
<br />and Clara Von Ohlen, in the amount of $4000.00. I direct that this mortgage shall be cano&lleld
<br />and released upon payment by the said Emil R. Von Ohlen of $1000.00 in cash to each of the
<br />following four of my children,namely, Mrs. Alma Hilmer, Martha Von Ohlen, Bertha Von Ohlen,an
<br />Walter Von Ohlen, a total of $4000.00,said sums to be paid in the year 1930.
<br />SIXTH,,After the death of my said wife, Clara Von Ohlen, I direct, that the personal property
<br />of my estate shall be equally divided among the following four of my children,to -wit: Mrs. Alma
<br />Hilmer, Martha Von Ohlen, Bertha Von Ohlen and Walter Von Ohlen.
<br />SEVENTH, I further direct, that, upon the payment by my son Richard Von Ohlen of $1000.00 to
<br />my son Walter Von Ohlen, the indebtedness to me of the said Richard Von Ohlan, in the amount of
<br />$7,000.00 shall be immediately cancelled. I further direct that the said Richard Von Ohlen sliall
<br />pay to my wife, or in case of her prior death, to my estate the annual sum of $250.00 up to a d
