This residence lot,I hereby convey to The Mary Lanning Hospital Trust to '? <br />e. <br />r. <br />be used perpetually for the benefit of The Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital as a home for nurs s. <br />-2- h <br />I wish Fifteen Thousand Dollars to be deposited with the aforesaid Trust,the interest on which <br />to be paid to my sister,Jennie L.Black of Freeport,Ohio,during her life time and at her ! <br />i <br />death to go to the endowment fund of The Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. <br />-3- <br />I wish my executors to invest Forty Tnousand Dollars more or less in building and furnishing; <br />a Maternity Hospital north of the present hospital.building of which I have at present a :+ <br />sketch of the plans. This,I wish built as a memorial to my wife,Alice T.Lanning.I also <br />wish my executors to appropriate Seventy -five Thousand Dollars more or less to build a <br />hotel for girls to be named the Maryland. I wish this hotel built in the style of the dormitory <br />which,I built last year - -fire proof - -and when finished <br />W.H.Lanning . <br />I wish the land on which the building is erected together with the building to be conveyed <br />to the Board of Trustees to be managed without any profit,but simply to pay expenses.I <br />would like this building to be erected on ground south of Seventh Street between Lincoln and; <br />4: <br />St.Joe Avenues,provided the location can be had at a reasonable price. <br />-!h <br />All the rest and residue of my property,including my life insurance,if there be any,I wish io- <br />vested in interest bearing securities andplaced in the hands of The Mary Lanning "Hospital.. <br />Trust as a part of the endowment of The Mary Lanning Memorial Hos pital.It being my wish that <br />when this general endowment fund is more than is necessary to keep up repairs on buildings <br />that the excess may be used to reduce charges in the Hospital. <br />-5- <br />I hereby appoint Thomas Frahm,R.R.Damerell and C.G.Lane as my executors. <br />W.
