<br />WILL,CERTIFICATE AND FINAL DECREE
<br />I,Henry Reese,widower,of Grand Island,Nebraska,being of sound mind and disposing memory,
<br />do make and publish this,my last will and testament in the manner and form following that
<br />is to say:
<br />FIRST.
<br />I direct that my just debts,if any,and the expenses attending my burial,be first paid.
<br />SECOND.
<br />I give and devise to my daughter,Berth a Krueger,the center one -third of Lot Three,in Block
<br />Eighty,of the Original Town,now City,of Grand Island,Nebraska,together with all rights in
<br />party wall attached to said premises ,to have and to hold the same for the period of her nat-
<br />ural life,and,subject to the life estate therein of the said Bertha Krueger,I give and de-
<br />vise said center one -third of Lot Three in Block Eighty of the Original Town,now City,of
<br />Grand Island,Nebraska,share and share alike,to the immediate children of the said Bertha
<br />Krueger,surviving at the time of her death,to Pave and to hold the same forever.
<br />THIRD.
<br /><< I give and bequeath to my daughter- in- law,Emma Reese,surviving widow of my deceased ®n,
<br />George Reese,,the sum of Five Hundred Dollars,to be paid out of my personal estate within one
<br />year after my death.I make no greater provision in favor of thesaid Emma Reese,for the rea-
<br />son that I have turned over to her $5700-in Liberty Bonds during my lifetime,and which are
<br />to become her absolute property upon my death.
<br />FOURTH.
<br />I give and bequeath to my daughter- in- law,Frieda A.keese,the sum of Six Thousand Dollars,
<br />to be paid to her out of my personal estate within one year after my death.
<br />FIFTH
<br />I direct that within one year after my death my Executor,hereinafter named,sell the cen-
<br />ter forty -four feet of Lots One and Two,in Block Thirty - nine,of the Original Town,now City,
<br />of Grand Island,Nebraska,more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point on the
<br />east line of Lot 1,44 feet southerly from the northeasterly corner of said Lot One;running
<br />thence westerly parallel with the ncr therly line of said Lot One and Two to the west line
<br />of said Lot Two;thence southerly along the westerly line of said Lot Two,44 feet;thence
<br />easterly parallel with the nottherly line of said Lots One and Two to the Easterly line of
<br />of said Lot One ;thence northerly along the easterly line of said Lot One to the place of
<br />beginning,and in selling and conveying said premises I direct that my said Executor reserve
<br />an easement for a right of way for the benefit of the owner or owners of the other portilons
<br />of said Lots One and Two,on and over the westerly twelve feet of said Lot Two,and for the
<br />purpose of carrying these provisions into effect I hereby empower my said Executor to sell
<br />and convey said real estate without license or authority from any Court,the proceeds from
<br />the sale of said real estate to be disposed of among my grandchildren as provided in the
<br />residuary clause of this will.
<br />SIXTH.
<br />I give,devise,and bequeath all the rest,residue,and remainder of my property,both real
<br />and personal,and incl udiog lapsed legacies and lapsed devices,if any such there be,to my
<br />grand- children,children of my son,Harry Reese,of my deceased son,George Reese,and of my
<br />daughter,Bertha Krueger,ltving at the time of my death,share and share alike.
<br />SEVENTH.
<br />I hereby nominate and appoint R.R.Horth,of Grand Island,Nebraska,as Executor of this will,
<br />hereby granting unto said Executor full power and authority to sell and convey the real
<br />estate described in the fifth paragraph of this will,without license or authority from any
<br />
