<br />was his last will and testament and we at his request signed our names hereto in leis presenc

<br />CODICIL
<br />I,George P.Jackson,of the City of Grand Island,Hall County, Nebraska, do hereby declare the
<br />present writing to be a codicil to my last will and testament,bearing date of the 6th day €
<br />of December,A.D.1915.
<br />1- WHEREAS I own several pieces of real estate located in the City of Grand Island,Nebraska;
<br />and whereas it might prove inconvenient as well as impractical for my estate to hold this
<br />property;and whereas my wife Anna E.Jackson has a life estate in same with restriction as to
<br />sale and encumbrance of same.
<br />2 -Now,I do hereby amend said portion of Paragraph Three of my said last will and testament
<br />referring to real estate and do hereby grant,authorize and empower my wife,Anna E.Jackson,
<br />with the right to sell said real estatewhich is located in the City of Grand Island,Nebraska,
<br />she��l- �e- neeesslty -a }$e and izm the event of such sale to accept cash,notes and mortgages
<br />in payment,with the provision that the proceeds of such sale shall be divided as.follows;
<br />Anna E.Jackson,to retain I of the proceeds of such sale for her sole and separate use,and to
<br />have the same absolutely ;j of the proceeds to be divided equally among the several heirs
<br />named in Paragraph Three of my last will and testament,share and share alike,to have the samel
<br />absolutely.(This amendment does not extend to or include real estate located elsewhere.
<br />3 -I do hereby ratify and confirm my said last will and testament in every other respect. In
<br />Witness whereof,I,the said George P.Jackson,have to this codicil set my hand and seal this 4t
<br />day of December,A.D.1922.
