<br />IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE
<br />OF DECREE
<br />PETER HARRISON,DECEASED.
<br />Now on this 14th day of October,1924,this cause came on for hearing upon the petition of
<br />Richard L. Harrison heretofore filed herein,praying that the Court determine and find the date
<br />of the death of the said Peter Harrison, deceased; that the said Peter Harrison died intestate,
<br />that the heirs at law of the said Peter Harrison be determined by the Court and their respect -
<br />ive degree of kinship fixed,and that the right of descent of the real estate of the said Pet-
<br />er Harrison, deceased, be determined,and it appearing to the Court from the proofs on file,
<br />that due and legal notice,by publication,has been given,as by law and the order of this
<br />Court re4uired,to all creditors,heirs and persons interested in the Estateof the said deceased,,
<br />cif the time of the filing of daid petit ion,and of the time and place fixed for the hearing
<br />thereon,which time was for more than thirty days and less than sixty days after the filing
<br />of said petition,and there being no objections thereto,said cause was.-duly submitted to the
<br />Court ,upon the petition and the evidence produced by the petitioner in support thereof, and the
<br />Court being fully advised in the premises finds that the said Peter Harrison died intestate
<br />in Grand Island,Hall County, Nebraska, and at the time of his death,the said Peter Harrison wail
<br />a resident and inhabitant of the City of Grand Island,and State of Nebraska; that the said
<br />Peter Harrison died seized of an estate of inheritance in real estate,located in Hall County,
<br />Nebraska,consisting of the ownership in fee simple of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24,
<br />Township 11,Range 11,West of the 6th P. M. in Hall County,Nebraska; that more than fifty years
<br />have lapsed since the death of the said Peter Harrison,and that no application has evern beeti
<br />made in the State of Nebraska for the appointment of an administrator of his estate,nor has.,
<br />administration upon the Estate of the said Peter Harrison,deceased,ever been had in the Static
<br />of Nebraska;that the petitioner herein is now the owner of said premises by purchase and is
<br />a competent and proper person to institute and prosecute this proceeding.
<br />The Court further finds that the said Peter Harrison left surviving hin,William H. Harrison,
<br />a son,Charles E. Harrison,a son,Richard L. Harrison,a son,M. Louisa Harrison,a daughter,T.O. C.
<br />Harrison,a son and Aurora C.Harrison,a daughter,all of legal age;that upon the death of the
<br />said Peter Harrison,under the laws of the State of Nebraska,then in force,the res,l estate
<br />hereinbefore described passed and descended in equal shares to the said William H.Harrison,
<br />Ch a rles E. Harrison,Riohard L. Harrison. M. Louisa Harrison,T.O. C. Harrison and Aurora C. Harrison,
<br />one -sixth to each,as tenants in common,in absolute title.
<br />The Court further finds that the said Peter Harrison,deceased,left a personal estate suff-
<br />icient to pay his funeral expenses and debts and that such funeral expenses and debts have
<br />beenfully paid; that if any debts existed against the Estate of the said Peter Harrison,de-
<br />ceased,such debts are long since barred by the Statute of Limitations and are now forever barred
<br />and precluded,and the Court -further finds that the costs of this proceeding have been paid in
<br />full.
<br />IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE COURT,that the said Peter Harrison died
<br />intestate at Grand Island,Nebraska,that he died on the 29th day of November,1979 and that
<br />at the time of his death he was a resident and inhabitant of Grand Island and State of Nebraska;
<br />that more than fifty years have lapsed since the death of the said Peter Harrison;trhat no
<br />administration has ever been had or applied for upon the Estate of the said Peter Harrison,
<br />deceased,in the State of Nebraska; that the said Peter Harrison died seized as the owner in
