<br />in the sum of Three Thousand Dollars due me on note and the cancellation of this -&did obli-
<br />gation shall constitute his bequest hereunder. The intention being to give my son Arthur
<br />the said farm free and clear of all encumbrance same and except the sum of Six Thousand Dollarq
<br />and that if my son Richard pays off the mortgage against the said premises,then the bequest
<br />herein of #3000.00 is to take effect,otherwise my son Richard is to retain the money so due
<br />me in lieu of such bequest,and my son Arthur is to take the farm subject to the said mortgage
<br />and subject to a #3000.00 charge in favor of my daughter Martha Rauert.
<br />Sixth.
<br />I give,devise and bequeath unto my sons Edward Boldt and Rudolph Boldt,in equal shares,Lot
<br />One (1) in Block Ten (10) of the Original Town,now City of Grand Island,Nebraska,to have and
<br />to hold to them and their heirs forever,the intention being to give to each of my sons an un =-
<br />divided onehalf interest therein,subject only to the life estate in my wife as hereinbefore
<br />provided.
<br />Seventh.
<br />All of the rest,residue and remainder of my property,real,personal or mixed,which I now
<br />have or may hereafter acquire,I give,devise and bequeath unto my said five children share and
<br />share alike to have and to hold forever. E

<br />Eighth.
<br />I hereby nominate and appoint my wife,Augusta Boldt,executrix of this my last will and testa—

<br />went to serve without bDnd,hereby revoking axle* and all former wills by me made. y
