THOMPSON, DECEASED. ) <br />D E C R E E. <br />This matter coming on to be heard on this 25th day of June, A.D. ,1924, at the hour of ten <br />o'clock A.M. , there was present Nora N. Nicholson, by her Attorney, A.C. Mayer, and after hearing <br />the testimony offered and argument of counsel, the Court finds generally for the said Nora N. <br />Nicholson, and finds that on the 3rd day of May, 1924, she filed in this Court her duly verified <br />petition, setting out that she is the owner of fractional Lot One (1) in Block One Hundred Forty <br />(140) in Union Pacific Railway Company's Second Addition to Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; <br />that on the first day of December, A.D. 1889, one Elizabeth P.Thompson was the owner of said <br />premises and departed this life intestate in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, a resident the" - <br />of, and that no proceedings have been had in any court in this State for the administration of <br />her estate, and that there is no debts of the decedent. <br />The Court further finds that on the 21st day of May, 1924, an order was made in This Court <br />setting said petition down for hearing on the 25th day of June, A.D.,1924, at ten o'clock A.M., <br />and directing that notice of the filing of said petition, and notice of the time and place fixed <br />for said hearing be given to all persons interested in said Estate by publishing a notice thereof <br />for three weeks prior to the date of said hearing in the Grand Island Herald, a legal newspaper <br />printed and published in said Hall County, Nebraska. <br />The Court further finds that a Notice in- compliance with said order was printed for theee <br />consecutive weeks in said Grand Island Herald, the first publication being on the 22nd day of May <br />1924, and the last publication being on the 5th day of June, 1924. <br />The Court further finds that s .,- -id Elizabeth P.Thompson left surviving her as her heirs and <br />only heirs at law, Callie E.Thompson, now Callie E.Farnsworth, Elizabeth Inez Thompson, now <br />Elizabeth Inez Musser, Anna Grace Thompson, now Anna Grace Jones, John P.Thompson and Eliza Cather«. <br />ne Thompson, now Eliza Catherine Carr, children of said deceased Elizabeth P.Thompson; also John <br />R.Thompson, her husband, Who were the owners of the fee in said premises; that all of said <br />children conveyed their interest in said premises to said John R.Thompson, their father, and that <br />he departed this life, testate, on.the 29th day of September, 1912, in which will he conveyed <br />said premises to the said Anna Grace Jones, and she conveyed said premises to the petitioner, <br />i <br />
