<br />Know all men by these presents,that I,James Nicholson of Grand Island,Nebra.ska,being of
<br />sound ands disposing mind and memory do make,publish and declare this to be my last Will and
<br />Testament:
<br />First: I desire that all my just debts and the expenses of my last sickness and funeral be
<br />paid out of my estate.
<br />Secon d.To my daughters Margaret Nicholson Cosh and Annie Nicholson Tirrel I give and bequeath'
<br />one dollar each,making in all X2.00.
<br />Third: To my daughter Clara Nicholson McKeand I give devise and bequeath Lot Six (6) in Block
<br />sixteen (16) of H.G.Clark's Addition to the City of Grand Island,Hal1 County,Nebraska,together
<br />with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging,and also,all the furniture contained in the dwell-
<br />ing house thereon at the time of my decease.
<br />Fourth.Of all the rest and residue of my es�ate,of whatsoever nature and wheresoever found,I
<br />give,devis'e and bequeath to my son William N -icholson,one sixteenth (1 -16) thereof,and to each of
<br />nay three children Jessie Nicholson Gidings,John Nicholson a,nd James Nicholson,five sixteenths
<br />(5 -16) thereof,that is, 15 -16 divided equally among said last named three children.
<br />Fifth.I hereby nominate and appoint my son John Nicholson sole executor of this my last Will
<br />and Testa.ment,giving and granting unto him,as such executor,full power and authority to sell and
<br />convey any real estate which may form part of my residuary estate,for the purpose of paying the
<br />legacies mentioned in item Fourth of this Will,and I desire that he be not required to furnish
<br />surety on his bond as such executor.
<br />Dated at Grand Island, Nebraska, thi s 15th day of April , A. D.1914.
