<br />in ow all men by these presents, That I, Asa C.L-11urphy of Topeka, Kansas, being now of sound
<br />d memory, but mindful of the uncertainty of life do hereby make, publish and declare thi,
<br />last will and testament, hereby revoking all prior Willi by me made.
<br />1. Subject to the payment of my debts, funeral expenses, including the cost of the cremation of
<br />my body after death, I devise and bequeath my estate as follows, to wit:
<br />2. I devise and bequeath to Ellen Fowlie, a niece now of Denver, Colorado, if living at the time
<br />of my �eath, the sum of one thousand dollars.
<br />3. I devise and bequeath to Grace Jones, a niece now of Kansas City, nv ssouri, if living at the
<br />I
<br />time of my death, the sum of one thousand dollars.
<br />4. All the rest and residue of my estate real and personal wherever situate remaining after the I
<br />f
<br />r
<br />payment of my debts funeral expenses including the cost of the cremation of my body after my
<br />death and the above legacies to Ellen Fowlie and Grace Jones, if they shall survive me, I devisel
<br />I and bequeath to ray brother Philip I.Yurphy of Topeka, Kansas, and to his heirs if he shall not I
<br />surviv me.
<br />5. And 3 hereby appoint and constitute my said brother Philip I.11urphy as the executor of this I
<br />my last will and testament, and I direct that no bond shall be required of him as such executor,
<br />and in case of his death, disability or in ability to act as such executor, I hereby appoint
<br />and eo stitute my nephew Ralph E.Eurphy as executor hereof in his stead and I direct that no
<br />bond s ll be required of said Ralph E.Murphy as executor hereof.
<br />In wit ess whereof I have this 12th day of July,1919, in the presence of . :,witnesses whose
<br />names are signed hereto, declared this to be my last will and testament and have signed and
<br />execut d the same as such in the presence of said wvitnesse end they have signed the same as
<br />such witnesses in my presence and in the presence of each other.
