<br />death,upon executing and delivering to said trustees his promissory note for the amount borrowe4L,
<br />by him,bea.ring interest 4t the rate of five per centum per annum.payable semi - annually, and secu r-
<br />ing the payment of said note by a first non- tL.xuble mortgage on Lot 5 in Block 66 of the origin!r
<br />al t own, now city of Grand Is land.Nebraska. It is rriy intention that said trust fund of Twenty-
<br />five Thousand Dollars shall bear interest from the date of rq death.and until .paid over to
<br />said trustees interest thereon at the rate of five percentum per- &nnum.payable semi - annually,
<br />shall be paid out of my residuary estate. ,In the event of the death or inability to act of
<br />either of my said trustees, I nominate and appoint my gr4.ndson George Bartenbach as his succ-
<br />essor in trust. The survivor of said trustees and said successor nd the survivor of them to
<br />execute this trust, and provided further, in the event of the death of my said granddaughter,
<br />Charlotte Bartenbach Aboott.before .she arrives at the age of thirty years.with issue living at
<br />the time of her death, then said principal sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars,covered by this
<br />trust,to- gether with any accumulat ions. shr,_ll become the absolute property of the issue of the
<br />said Charlotte Bartenbach ACbott,l ving at the time of her death;but in the event of the death

<br />of the said said Charlotte Bartenbach Abbott before she arrives at the age of thirty years,with4-
<br />out issue living at the tirr,e of her death,then and in that event.aaid principal sum of Twenty-
<br />five thousand Dollars shall immediately become a part of my residuary estate under this will,
<br />and said trustees or the survivor of them and said successor, or the survivor of teem are her 3
<br />by directed to executed this trust accordingly,without compensation to said trustees or said
<br />successor;a.nd provided. further that the said Charlotte Bartenbach Abbott shall be without power;
<br />or authority to anticipate or in any m; -nner alienate said principal sum of Twenty -five Thousand
<br />Dollars,covered by this trust.before she arrives at the age of thirty years,anu erne shall be
<br />without power or authority to anticipate or in an3- manner alienate the income therefrom,or any '
<br />part thereof,in advance of the distribution thereof as herein provided,nor shall said principal
<br />sum of Twenty -five Thousand Dollars be liable for any debts contracted by the said Charlotte I
<br />Bartenbach Abbott.prior to her arriving at the age of thirty years,nor shu.11 the income from

<br />the, death of the said Henry J.Bartenbach.I hereby nominate and appoint R.R.Horth a.s his succ-
<br />essor as executor of this will.
