<br />I,Carrie M.Coomes of Wood River in the County of Ha11,State of Nebraska,being of sound mind
<br />and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life,do therefore make,
<br />ordain,publish and declare this to by me last WILL AND TESTAMENT:
<br />FI.RST,I order and direct that my Executor hereinafter named,pay all my ,just debts and funeral
<br />expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be,and erect a suitable stone to mark nW
<br />grave.
<br />SECOND,After tine payment of such funeral expenses and debts,I give,devise and bequeath unto
<br />my beloved husband, John W. Coomes, the use, i nc cme, rents, control and management of all my real estate
<br />during his natural life.
<br />THIRD: I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved niece,Grace H. Redick all real estate owned'
<br />by me at my death subject to the life estate and rights of my husband, J ahn W. Coomes.
<br />FOURTH: I give devise and bequeath unto my friend,Nora Brunner,my Edison Phomograph.
<br />FIFTH: I give and bequeath unto my friend,Katie Smith,three (3) shares in the Wood River
<br />Bui.ldi.ng & Loan Association.
<br />cI TTI: - I give, devise and bequeath all my personal property, except as above bequeathed, unto
<br />Oak C. Redick, Trustee, to be invested by him, if not already invested, and reinvest as his best
<br />i
<br />judgement may dictate with power to sell any of the securities if circumstances make it advisable;
<br />said trustee to pay to or permit my husband,John W.Coomes,to receive,the ncome of the said trust
<br />fund during his life. After the d eat h of my husband, John W. C domes , sa.id trust fund shall go to
<br />,"y beloved niece,Grace H.Redick to be hers absolutely.
<br />LASTLY,I make, constitute and appoint Oak C.Redick of Oraaha,Nebraska to be Executor of this
<br />my last Willi and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
