<br />I,Frederick August Peter Hedde (generally signing my name Fred Hedde( living in the Inds-

<br />pendent Building,corner Third and Locust Streets,in the city of Grand Island,County of Hall and,
<br />. r
<br />State of Nebra.ska,being of sound mind and memory,bgt mindful of the uncertainty of human life,
<br />dorrake,publish and declare this to be my last will and testament that is to say:
<br />Item First.

<br />It is my will and wish that all my ,just debts and obligations be first fully paid and satisfiled.
<br />Item Second.
<br />I give,devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Louise Hedde all property of which I may die
<br />seized or possessed,real,personal or mixed and all moneys obligations or credits due or to grow
<br />due,nothing to be excepted,to have and to hold the same unto the said Louise Hedde her heirs
<br />and assigns for ever,subject however to the following legacies.
<br />Item Third.
<br />I give and bequeath to the eldest son of my deceased brother,whose name is Frederick Hedde,
<br />and who is city architect of Berlin,the capital of Prussia,where he liVes,the sum of Five Thous
<br />and Dollars ($5000.00),and to my deceased brother's second son,whose name is Johannes Hedde
<br />i,
<br />(generally called Hans Hedle),who is burgomaster of Treptow on the Rega Frussia,where he liv4s, f
<br />also the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5000.00), the same to be paid by my executrix as pro-
<br />vided in a following item.
<br />Item Fourth.
<br />Of these sums of Five Thousand Dollars,given and bequeathed to each of my above named two
<br />nephews,W main heir and executrix,my wife Louise Hedde,shall pay within a year after my death,
<br />to my said nephew Frederick Hedde One Thousand (41000.00) Dollars and to my other nephew Jo-
<br />hannes Hedde also One Thousand Dollars (41000.00) only,and the balance of Four Thousand ($4000.0)
<br />Dollars,to be received by each of the two,she shall pay in such amounts and at such times as wil
<br />suit her convenience. And she shall not be bound to pay them any interest or to give them any
<br />bond or other security for these payments.
<br />Item Fifth.
<br />Reposing full confidence in the judgment, honesty and diligence of my beloved wife Louise
<br />Hedde I do hereby nominate,constitute and appoint her my sole executrix and my sole residuary
