<br />In the name of God,Amen. I,Claus Schuett of the County of Ball and State of Nebraska,consid
<br />ering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory,blessed be God for
<br />the same,do make u.nd publish this my last Will and Testament,in manner and form following,that
<br />is to say:
<br />'- First,I direct that my funeral charges,the expenses of administering my estate and all my
<br />debts be paid out of my personal property. If that be insufficient I authorize my executor,,
<br />hereinafter nGmed,to sell so much of my Real Estate as may be necessary for that purpose.
<br />Second,I give and bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Margaretha Schuett all the Real
<br />Estate of which I shall die possessed, to have and to hold the same, to her and to her heirs fo
<br />Third, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife „&arga.retha Schuett all my household furniture
<br />a.nd all the rest of my personal property,after paying therefrom the above mentioned items,to be
<br />hers forever.
<br />Fourtt. I give to each of my children, n4med Wiebke Catharine., Friedrich Wilhelm, Johann Christi
<br />Maria.. Julius and Henrich, the sum of $5.00•.
<br />Fifth,I hereby give the castudy of my infant children,duri.ng their minority and while they
<br />remain unmarried, to my beloved wife Ma.rgaretna Schuett.. And I hereby appoint my said wife 1 a.r-
<br />garetha Schuett to be the guardian of my said children.
<br />I hereby appoint my beloved wife Ihargaretha Schuett the sole executor of this my last Will
<br />and Testament.
<br />In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and decree this to be my
<br />last Will and Testament,in presence of the witnesses nLxied below this 10th day of October in t
<br />year of our Lord One Thousand Nine hundred Seven.
