<br />IN THE COUNTY COURT OF HALL COUNTY,NEBRASKA.

<br />Now, on this 15th day of January, 1921, this cause came on for
<br />hearing upon the petition of Orlando O.Orndoff,heretofore filed herein,praying for the settlement
<br />of the estate of the said Josiah Hall,deceased,that he died intesta.te,and for a determination as
<br />to his heirs ELt law "nd their degree of kinship to said ded_eased,and the right of descent of the
<br />real estate of said deceused,and said petitioner being represented by Horth & Ryan,his attorneys,
<br />and the Court having heard the testimony and being; fully advised in the premises,finds that due
<br />and legal notice,by .publication in the "Grand Island Independent" for three successive weeks,has
<br />been duly given to all persons interested in said estate,including the heirs at law of said de-
<br />ceased and the creditors of said deceased,of the filing of said petition,and of the time and
<br />place afixed for hearing thereon.which time was more than thirty days and less than sixty days
<br />after the filing of said petition,"nd no one appearing to object,sGid cause was submitted to the
<br />Court,upon said petition,proof of notice,and the testimony,and the Court being fully advised in
<br />the premises,finds that the allegations contained in said petition are true;that the said Josiah
<br />Hall died intestate 4t his dome in Hall County, Nebraska, on the 21st day of May,1908, and at the
<br />time of his death he was a resident and inhubita;nt of Hail County,Nebra.ska; that more than two
<br />years have elapsed since the death of the said Josiah Ha11,tand no applications or petition has
<br />ever been filed in the state of .Nebraska for the appointment of an administrator off his estate,
<br />and no administration has even been had upon the estate of the said Josiah Hall,deceased.
<br />The Court further finds that the said Josiah Hall left surviving him as his heirs at law,and
<br />his only heirs at law,Amanda Ii.Ball,his surviving widow,and Stephen J.Hall,his son,and that
<br />their degree of kinship to said deceased was that of surviving widow and dhild;that said decease:
<br />died seized as the owner of the fee simple title,and of "n estate of inheritance,in and to the
<br />west half of the northeast quarter,and the east half of the northwest quarter, of Section Thirty-
<br />four (34),in Township Twelve (12),North of Runge Twelve (12),West of the Sixth P.M.,in Hall
<br />County,Nebra.ska,which said real estate,upon the death of said Josiah Hall,passed and descended,
<br />by absolute title,under the intestate laws of the state of Nebraska then in force,to the said
<br />Amanda M. Hall and Stephen J. Hull, share and share alike.
<br />The Court further finds that the petitioner,Orl"ndo U.Orndoff,purchased the above described
<br />estate from the said Amanda M- Hall,widow,and Stephen J.H"11.,"nd his wife,on the 21st day of
<br />February,1910.and that at said time the said Stephen J.Hull, w"s over the age of twenty -one year ,
<br />and said premises were conveyed to the said Orlando O.Orndoff by warranty deed recorded in Book j
<br />45 of Deeds at Page 393 of the Deed Records of Hall County,Nebraska;that said petitioner is stil
<br />the owner of said prewises,and as such owner is za proper and qualified person to file said pertit on

<br />and prosecute this action; that the funeral expenses and other debts of said deceased have been i
<br />paid,and that all debts or claims against the estate of said deceased,if any such exist,are
