<br />The State of Nebraska,to the heirs and next of kin of the said John S. Hedges, deceased.
<br />Take notice that upon filing L. written instrument purporting to be the last will and testame
<br />of John S. Hedges, for probate and allowance, it is ordered that said matter be set for hearing
<br />3rd day of March,A.D.1891,before said County Court,at the hour of 1 o'clock P.M-at which time
<br />person interested zay appear and contest the same;and notice of this proceeding is ordered published
<br />three weeks successively in the Shelton Clipper,a weekly newspaper,published in this State,

<br />C.C.Reed being duly sworn,says that he Ls one of the publishers of the Shelton Clipper,a week
<br />ly newspaper published in whole at its office in Shelton,Buffa.lo County,Nebraska,and of general
<br />circulation therein."nd has been published in said County for more than 36 years,and has a bona
<br />fide circulation of more than 200 copies.That he is the seccessor of F.D.Reed,the former publisk
<br />of said paper,and who published the same during the year 1891.That x.11 the copies and files and
<br />books of said paper were destroyed by fire during the year 1903• That lie krcws of his own persona
<br />knowledge that said paper had a circulation of more than 200 at and during the year 18916and stb
<br />that to the best of his knowledge and belief,and from information furnished him,that the above
<br />notice was Dublished in said paper for at least three consecutive weeks,prior to March 3rd,1891.

<br />Second.I bequeath to my sister Mrs Mary K.Sargent of Roscoe, Illinois, the sum of One Thousand
<br />Dollars.
<br />Third.I bequeath to my sister,Mrs Laura B.Gibson of Aurora Illinois the sum of Five Hundred
<br />Dollars.
<br />Fourth.I give and bequeath to my sister ?Ire Emma C.Goodell of Rllsworth,Kansas, the sum of
<br />Five Hundred dollars.
<br />Fifth.I give and bequeath to my brother George Wilbur Hedges of Ainsworth,Neb. , the sum of
<br />Five Hundred Dollars..
<br />Sixth. I give and bequeath to my brother Charles H. Hedges of Los Angeles,California, the sum
<br />of Five Hundred Dollars.
<br />Seventh,I give and bequeath to my mother -in -law Mrs Egmia Brownell of Bannister. Michigan the
<br />sum. of Five Hundred Dollars.
<br />Eighth.I give and bequeath to Thomas A.H"rvey of Ba,nnister,Michigan the sum. of Five Iiurdred
