<br />Be it remembered, that on 16th day of January,1920, that being one of the days of the October,
<br />1919 term of the District Court of the 11th Judicial District of the State of Nebraska, within
<br />and for the County of hall, held at the Court House in the city of Grand Island, before the Hon.
<br />Bayard H.Paine, one of the Judges of the said District, the following, among other proceedings,
<br />were had in the words and figures following, to -wit:

<br />Now on this day came the plaintiff by J.H.Woblley, their attorney and the defendants herein
<br />still failing to answer, demur or otherwise plead to the plaintiff's petition, were each thrice
<br />solemnly ctilled in open court "nd came not bjut made default. And it appearing to the Court that
<br />of said defendants had been duly notified of the filing and pendency of this action by publicatic
<br />for the time and in the manner as by law provided, it is therefore ordered that their default be
<br />entered herein and that the facts stated in the plaintiffs petition be taken as true as against)
<br />them, and each of them..
<br />This cause coming on further for hearing was submitted to the Court upon the pleadings and
<br />evidence, upon consideration whereof, the Court finds that on February 2,1918, the plaintiffs
<br />herein were placed in the actual possession and occupation of Lots 185 and 186 in West Yawn in
<br />the City of Grand Island, #all County, Nebraska under and by virtue of a warranty deed for said
<br />premises as of the date °mentioned. said deed being from John Wicker and Nancy E. Wicker, husband
<br />and wife to these plaintiffs jointly, and which said deed was duly filed for record in the office
<br />of the Register of Deeds of Hall County, Nebraska and recorded in Book 56 at page 92 on the 4th
<br />day of February,1918•
<br />The Court farther finds that the title to said premises rests upon and is derived from a
<br />certain tax deed issued and delivered by the the.nCounty Treasurer of Hall County, Nebraska on or
