<br />LAST WILL ._AND. TESTAMENT
<br />I, Jacob Messerly of Jersey Shore in the County of Lycoming and State of Pennsylvania, being
<br />of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament,
<br />hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at anytime heretofore made.
<br />And first, I direct that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate
<br />and situation in life and that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid and sat-
<br />isfied as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
<br />As to such estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of the same as
<br />follows, viz:
<br />FIRST: I give, devise and bequeath unto Jacob H. Messerly the following described real
<br />estate, situate in Hall County, State of Nebraska. to wit: The west half of the a outh -west
<br />quarter of section 14, Township #9, north of range 10, west of the 6th.. P.M. containing
<br />eighty (80) acres, more or less.
<br />SECOND: I bequeath unto Miss Margaret Messerly, the sum of One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars.
<br />THIRD: I bequeath unto Samuel Messerly, the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars.
<br />FOURTH: I bequeath unto William P. Messerly, the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars.
<br />FIFTH: I bequeath unto Emma Riggle, intermarried with George Riggle, of Pine Creek Town-
<br />ship, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars.
<br />SIXTH: I bequeath unto Conrad Messerly, the sum of Two Hundred Fifty ($250.00) Dollars.
<br />SEVENTH: I bequeath unto William P. Messerly, in trust, however for Mary Messerly, spinstex
<br />the sum of Two Hundred Fifty ($250.00) Dollars, same.., to be paid to her as her necessities may
<br />demand.
<br />EIGHTH: I bequeath unto Christ H. Messerly and William F. Messerly, sons of John Messerly,
<br />deceased, the sum of Two Hundred Fifty ($250.00) each.
<br />NINTH. I bequeath unto Adam D. Messerly, two (2) notes of Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars
<br />each, same being the notes that I now hold against him.
<br />LASTLY: as to the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal or mixed, of
<br />whatsoever kind and nature and wheresoever situate that I may die seized of, I herewith and now,
<br />give, devise and bequeath unto Jacob H. Messerly, same to be his absolute.
<br />And I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Jacob H.-Messerly, sole Executor of this,
<br />my last will and testament, without bond, appraisement, or accounting.
<br />In witness whereof; I. Jacob Messerly the Testator, have to this, my will, written on
<br />one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal, this First day of September, A.D. One Thousand nine
<br />Hundred and fifteen.
