<br />said last will and testament the South West quarter (SW-41) of the South East quarter (SEA-) in
<br />Section NO.Two (2) in Township NO.Ten (10) in Range No.Ten (10) West of the 6th P.N. in Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, did pass and descend at the death of the said John Thomssen to Emma Schultz,
<br />his daughter, subject however to the life estate given to the widow, Anna Thomssen, in and to
<br />said real estate.

<br />The Last Will of John Thomssen.
<br />I. John Thomssen, of Hall County, Nebraska, being of sound mind and memory, but considering the
<br />uncertainty of mortal life declare this to be my last will, that is to say:
<br />First: I direct that the expenses of my funeral, the costs of administration, and all my debts
<br />shall be paid out of my personal property.
<br />Second: To my beloved wife, Anna Thomssen, I give the use, rents and income from all my property,
<br />both real and personal, for the period of her natural life, to be taken and received by her in
<br />lieu of her distributive share in my estate.
<br />Third. To my son Fred Thomssen I give and devise, subject to the life estate in my wife, the
<br />South East quarter of the North East quarter (SE-t NE +) and the East half of the South East quarter
<br />(Ef SE -t) of Section No. Three (3) and the South half of the South West quarter of North West
<br />quarter (S* SWI NWi) and the South half of South East quarter of North West quarter (S* SEJ NWf)
<br />and North half of South West quarter (N* SWJ) of section NO.Two (2), all in township No. Ten (10)
<br />North of range No, Ten (10) West of 6" P.M. in Hall County Nebraska, to him and his heirs forever,
<br />Fourth. To my son Wilhelm Thomssen I give and devise, subject to the life estate given to my wife,
<br />the South half of the North West quarter of the North West quarter (SJ NWf NW4) and North half of
<br />the South half of North West quarter (NJ SJ NWf) and the North East quarter of North West quarter
<br />(NE+ NWI) and West half of North East quarter (W* N*) and North West quarter of South East quar-
<br />ter (NWJ SEJ) of section No. Two (2) in township No.Ten (10) North of range No.Ten (10) West_ of
<br />6" P.M. in Hall County Nebraska, to him and to his heirs forever.
<br />Fifth. I give and devise to my son John Thomssen, and to his heirs forever, subject to the life
<br />estate given to my wife, the East half of the North West quarter (EJ NWJ) excepting 10 acres alonj
<br />the west line of SRI NW+ thereof belonging to Wilhelm Gutschow, and the West half of North East
<br />quarter (W* NEI) and North West quarter of South East quarter (NW+ SE +). together with ten acres
<br />in the North East quarter of the South West quarter on the West side of North West quarter of
<br />South East quarter, and the South,West quarter of the South East quarter (SW-J SEI) of Section No.
<br />Three (3) in township No.Ten (10) North of range No.Ten (10) West of 6" P.N. Hall CountylNebraska
<br />Sixth To my daughter Emma Schultz I give and devise the South West quarter of South East quarter
<br />(SW-J SE1) in section No.Two (2) in township Ten (10) North of range Ten (10) West of 6" P.M. to
<br />her heirs forever, subject to the life estate herein granted to my wife.
<br />In addition thereto I give my said daughter twenty five hundred dollars ($2500.00) payable <,Zto her
<br />or her heirs after my wife's death.
<br />Seventh: The rest, residue and remainder of my estate, be the same, real, personal or mixed prop-
<br />erty I give, devise and bequeath to may sons Fred, John and Wilhelm, share and share alike
<br />Eighth: In the event that any of my children shall die before I die, his or her share shall not
<br />lapse, but shall go to such deceased child's heirs.
<br />Ninth: I appoint my son Fred Thomssen executor of this will and direct that he be not required to
<br />give any bond whatever.
<br />Tenth: I hereby revoke all former wills.
