<br />The petition of John Doane, of the 'city of Lincoln, County of Lancaster and state of Nebra
<br />land who is of the age of twenty --one years and upwards, respectfully shows:
<br />That Thomas Doane, late of Boston, in the county of Suffolk, in the state of Massachusetts,
<br />departed this life at , on the 22nd. day of October, A.D.1897, leaving a last will and Tes
<br />torment, as your petitioner is informed and verily believes; that your petitioner is a son of said
<br />deceased; that said last 77ill and testament has been duly proved and allowed in the county of Suf-
<br />folk', State of Massachusetts, and that a duly authenticated copy of said last Will and Testament,
<br />and of the probate thereof, by the Probate Court of said county of Suffolk. Mass., is herewith
<br />'filed in this court by your petitioner; that your petitioner, together with David B. Perry of Cret
<br />Nebraska, and Henry B. Twoml'ey, of Summit, New Jersey, are the executors of said last Will and
<br />Testament, duly named therein and authorized and acting under and by virtue of said probate thereo .
<br />That said deceased was, at and immediately prevoius to his death, an inhabitant of said coup
<br />Ity of Suffolk and state of Massachusetts, and that he was possessed of real estate situate and be-
<br />ling in this county of Lancaster, as well as in the Counties of Saline & Seward. Nebraska, upon
<br />(which said Will may operate if probated, and that the estimated value of said real estate is the
<br />sum of $3500,
<br />or thereabouts, as
<br />your petitioner is
<br />informed
<br />and believes.
<br />And your
<br />petitioner further
<br />shows to the court
<br />that the
<br />names and places of residence of the
<br />(heirs at law of said deceased, and all persons interested in said estate, are as follows, each of
<br />said presons being of more than twenty -one years of age:
<br />Louisa A. Doane, Charleston, Mass, wife.
<br />Helen Doane Perry, Crete, Nebr., daughter.
<br />Caroline Doane Weeden, Cleveland, 0., daughter.
<br />Frances mane T-.yombley, Summit, N.J., daughter.
<br />Jo'rm Doane, Lincoln, Nebraska, son.
<br />Your petitioner therefore prays that all persons interested in said estate may be duly cited
<br />as required by law, and as to the court may seem proper,-to show cause if any there be, why said
<br />instrument, authenticated as aforesaid, may not be allowed, filed, probated and recorded as the
<br />last Will and Testament of said Thomas Doane, deceased, in and for the state of Nebraska, and why
<br />the execution thereof may not be committed and the administration of said estate granted to John
<br />Doane, David B. Perry and Henry B. Twomley,as executors, and that such other and further order and
<br />proceedings may be had in the premises as may be required by the statutes in such case made and
<br />provided.
