<br />- My son Herman may be buried upon my lot if it is his wish.

<br />To my son Henry Stolle, and to his heirs and assigns forever, I give and devise The
<br />East Half of the South east Quarter of Section No. four (4) and the West Half of the South West
<br />Quarter of Section No. three (3), and the East Half of the North Bast Quarter, and the South Vest
<br />Quarter of the North East quarter of Section No. nine (9), also my piece of land situate in the
<br />South East Quarter of the North West Quarter in said Section No. nine (9), containing about 13*
<br />acres, all in Township No. 12, North of Range No. nine (9), West of the 6th P.M. in Hall County,

<br />Nebraska, subject, however, to the following charges, which charges I hereby make liens /upon said
<br />premises, and which shall remain liens upon said premises until said charges have been paid in
<br />full, that is to say:
<br />To my son Herman Stolle and his heirs, I give the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5000.00), to
<br />be paid him by my son Henry.
<br />To my-son Louis Stolle and his heirs, I give the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3000.00),whi
<br />shall be paid him by my said son Henry.
<br />To my daughter Alvina Kruse and her heirs, I give the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00),
<br />which shall be paid her by my said son Henry.
<br />To my Son -in -law, Otto Frauen, I give the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500.00) to be paid
<br />him'by my said son Henry, and to be held by the said Otto Frauen in trust for the benefit of the
<br />children of my deceased daughter Minna. Said Grandchildren shall share alike in said legacy. and
<br />I direct that my said son -in -law shall put said money out at interest, and when said Grand child-
<br />ren shall severally reach their majority, such Grandchildren shall receive its share in said
<br />legacy, with interest.The receipt of my said son -in -law, Otto Frauen, to my said son Henry Stolle
<br />upon the payment by him to said Otto Frauen of said Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500.00) shall be
<br />a full discharge of said legacy.
<br />In addition to the obligations and charges and duties assumed, paid and to be performed
<br />by my said son Henry Stolle, I direct that he shall pay the expenses of probating this will,
<br />(Excepting the payment of any inheritance taxes.), and the administration of my estate, as well
<br />as the expenses of my funeral and burial..
<br />It shall by his duty to keep the graves of my wife and myself in good condition, and it
<br />is my will
<br />that

<br />next to
<br />my wife.
<br />In
<br />the
<br />event
<br />that he
<br />fails,
<br />neglects or refuses to carry out the provisions of this will,
<br />Without charge foV his services, or fail to pay the expenses of my funeral and costs of probating'

<br />this /will and costs of administration, then such expenses:; charges and costs whall become a lien
<br />upon the premises, herein given him, and sh &ll be a charge upon the real estate so devised.
<br />I specifically provide that such costs, expenses and charges shall not be paid out of my
<br />personal property.
<br />In addition to the foregoing charges, I hereby direct and provide that my said son Henry
<br />Stolle shall pay to my brother Wilhelm Stolle the sum of Fifty -five Dollars ($55.00) a year, pay-
<br />able in two installments of Twenty-seven and fifty hundredths Dollars ($27.50) each, on the first
<br />day of May and November of each and every year, until the said Wilhelm Stolle shall have died.
<br />This charge in favor of my brother Wilhelm Stolle, shall be and remain a lien upon the premises
<br />devised to my said son Henry Stolle, until the death of my said brother.
<br />To my son William Stolle, and to his heirs and assigns for ever. I give and devise the
<br />North West Quarter of Section No. '(3) Three, in Township No, Twelve (12) North of Range No. nine
<br />(9). West of the sixth P.M. in Hall County, Nebraska, subject to a charge, however of Ten Thous
<br />Dollars ($10000.00), which charge I do hereby make a lien upon said premises until the same shall
<br />have been paid. Said Ten Thousand Dollars ($10000.00) shall go as follows, that is to say:
