11GLBZ <br />L <br />1 <br />C <br />1 <br />Steadman deceased, and that said estate is fully settled and closed. <br />1%37 <br />The court finds that the said George W.Steadman departed this life on the 10th day of August, <br />being at the time of his death a resident of Hall County, Nebraska, <br />1915, at St.Elizabeth's Hospital Lincoln, Nebraska 'A and that he left a last will and testament, <br />which instrument was duly proven, allowed and admitted to probate in this court on the 18th day <br />of September, 1915, and recorded in this office. <br />The Court finds that the said George W.Steadman left surviving him as his heirs at law and <br />his only legal heirs the following named persons; Cora Dashield, a daughter, and Lorene Clark, <br />a granddaughter. <br />The court finds that the said George W.Steadman, died seized in fee simple of the following <br />described real estate situate in the county of Hall, and State of Nebraska, to -wit: Lots Fifteen's <br />(15) and Seventeen (17) in Block Five (5) of College Addition to West Lawn, an addition to the <br />City of Grand Island. <br />The court finds that imder the terms and provisions of said last will and testament all of <br />the above described real estate did pass and descend to Samuel A. J. Phelps, the sum of Fifty Dollars,($50.00) <br />Frank P.Doolittle, the sum of $100.00 <br />Etna Lawrence, the sum of $100.00 <br />Lottie Van Wermer the , sum of $100.00 <br />Lottie Steadman the sum of $300.00, <br />And the court finds that all of the above mentioned and described legacies have been paid by <br />the said Samuel A. Steaaman, executor. <br />It is, therefore, considered by the court that Lots 15 and 17 in Block 5, College Addition <br />to West Lawn, an addition to the city of Grand Island, in Hall County, Nebraska, did pass and des- <br />cend at the death of the said George W. Steadman, under the provisions of his last will and testa- <br />ment to Samuel A. Steadman, subject to the payment by the devisee of the above mentioned legacies <br />and that all of said legacies have been paid as shown by the receipts of legatees on file. The <br />Court finds that the executor was authorized by the provisions of the Last Will and Testament to <br />sell the real estate to pay debts and obligations. <br />J. H. rAullin..... Steadman of Hall County, Nebraska, being of <br />sound mind and disposing memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in <br />the manner and form following, to -wit: <br />1. It is my desire and I direct that all of my funeral expenses, the expenses of my last <br />sickness, the costs of Administering my estate and my other ,just debts, if any there be, shall be <br />paid out of the proceeds of my personal property by my executor, and if said personal property <br />be not sufficient then my executor shall sell so much of my real estate-as shall -be necessary <br />therefor and pay said debts and obligations, <br />2. After the payments of the debts aforesaid, I give and devise to my Daughter, Mrs Cora <br />Dashield, the sum of Fifty Dollars (450.00) to be paid to her by my executor, <br />3. To my friend Frank Corkins, of Grand Island, Nebraska I give and devise the sum of <br />I Fifty Dollars ($50-00), <br />4. To Frank Harris, grand son of my sister Mary Cook, I give and devise the sum of <br />I Fifty Dollars ($50.00), <br />5.
