MLL AND DEGREE REGORD No. 2 <br />whereof the title to the real estate hereinoerore described did pass and descend, upon the death <br />of the said Elmer E. Veeder, deceased, subject to the homestead estate therein of the said Berth <br />M. Veeder, under the intestate laws of the State of Nebraska. <br />It is, therefore, ordered, adjudged, and decreed by the court that the final report of the <br />said Bertha M. Veeder be, and the same hereby is, allowed and approved as and for her final re- <br />port; said executrix is hereby discharged and said estate closed. <br />It is further ordered, adjudged and decreed by the court that any andall persons holding <br />claims against said estate, if any such there be, and not filed, as heretofore ordered by the <br />court, are forever barred, excluded and enjoined from setting up or asserting any such claims <br />against said estate. <br />It is further ordered, adjudged and decreed by the court that the said Bertha TA. Veeder has <br />duly and lawfully renounced the provisions in her favor under the last will and testament of the <br />said Elmer E. Veeder, deceased, and that she takes from said estate, by inheritance, descent and <br />distribution, under the intestate laws of the State of Nebraska. <br />It is further ordered, adjudged and decreed by the court that the said Bertha J& Veeder is <br />the owner and holder of a homestead estate in and to the said Northeast Quarter of Section 29 in <br />Township 12 1vorth, Range 12 Nest, in Hall County., Nebraska, and that, subject to said homestead <br />estate of the Baia jjertiia M. Veeder therein, the title to said premises does pass and descend, by <br />absolute title, as follows: An undivided one -third to the said. Bertha M. Veeder, surviving widow <br />of the said Elmer E. Veeder, deceased, and un undivided two- thirds to the said Frank Veeder, Earl <br />Veeder, and Esther Veeder, sons and daughter, respectively, of the said Elmer E. Veeder, deceased <br />share and share alike. <br />J. H. Mullin <br />County Judge. <br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF EMIR E VEEDER. <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That I, Elmer E. Veeder, of Cairo, Hall County, Nebraska, <br />'being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make publish and declare this to be my Last WI <br />and Testament: <br />FIRST:- I desire that all my just debt and the expenses of my last sickness and funeral be <br />paid out of my estate. <br />SECOND : - I give and bequeath unto each of my three beloved children, Frank Veeder, Earle <br />Veeder and Esther Veeder, the sum of Two Thousand 00100 Dollars, to be paid to each of them on <br />arrival at the age of twenty-five (25) years. <br />THIRD:_- All the rest aria residue of my estate, of whatsoever nature and wheresoever found, <br />I give, devise and bequeata unto my beloved wife, Bertha M. Veeder, for the period of her natural <br />life. <br />FOURTH:- After the death of my said wife, I give devise and bequeath all the remainder, res, <br />and residue of my estate unto my three children, above named, share and share alike. <br />FIFTH:- I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife, Bertha m. Veeder, sole executrix of <br />this my Last Will and Testament, and I desire that she be not required to give surety on her bond <br />as such executrix. <br />Dated at Grand Island, Nebraska, this 23rd day of December, <br />A.D. 1914. <br />Elmer E.
