so WILL & DECREF: In tie name of God, amen: I, Edna 0. Rawles, of the city of Alliance, Box But County, Nebraska, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory, blessed 'be God for the same, ao make and publish this, my last will and testament in man ner ana form following, that is to say: First. I direct that my funeral charges, the expenses of awainistering my estate, and all my dents be paid out of my personal property. If that be insufficient, I authori2te my executor hereinafter mulled, to sell so much of my real estate as may be necessary for that purpose. Second. I riereby direct ana autiorize my executor, hereinafter named, to erect a monument, such as in his opinion is suitable to my memory, over my grave. Third. I hereby give, will and devise to Samuel B. Rawles and Mary J. Rawles, my father ariu motlier, share and share alike, Lot No. 3, in Block No. 14, in Bonnie Brae Addition to the "City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.. Fourth. I hereby give, will and bequeath to Samuel B. Rawles and Mary J. Rawles, my father and mother, share ar_.d snare alike, the note for $5000.00, with all interest due thereon and the morts_;age securing said note, which said note and mortgage were executed and delivered to me by said Samuel B. Rawles and many J. Rawles, my father and mother, said mortgage being upon the Nort West Quarter of Section Thirty One (31), and the North west Quarter of Section Thirty Six (36), all in Township Twenty (20), of Range Fourteen (14), valley County, Nebraska. And I hereby auth- orize and direct my executor hereinafter named to deliver the written release of said mortgage, the Baia note for $5000.00 ana said mortgage securing same to4amuel B. Rawles and Mary J.Rawles, my .father and mother. Fifth. I hereby give, will and devise to my friend, William King, of Alliance, Cebraska, Lot Ao. 7, Block Lettered A, in Snerivan Addition to the City of Alliance, Box Butte County, Ne raska, the property 'upon Wdich I now reside. Sixth. I hereby rive, will aria bequeath to my mother, Mary J. Rawles, ana to my friend, William King, of Alliance, Nebraska, share and share alike, all the rugs, carpets, pictures, bed- ding, dishes, glassware, china, chairs, tables, bedsteads, lwaps, stoves, sideboard, anu in fact each and every article of ornament, brie a brae, furniture and household goods of every descrip Lion of which I may die possessed; also all my diamonds, diamond rings, rings, watches anti all other jewelry of every description, of which I may die possessed; said property to be divided between said lfary T. Rawles and w�illiam King to the satisfaction of both, ana as equal in value as possible. Seventh. I hereby give, will and bequeatn to Reverend Peter Donnelly of Alliance, Nebraska, 1tne sum of 4300.00. Ei?hth. As to all t!qe rest and residue of my estate, as well real and personal, wnersoever situated arid. being, and of whatsoever nature or kind, and not hereinbefore given, bequeathed and devised, I do hereby give, devise anu bequeath the same, and every part thereof, to Samuel B. Rawles and Mary J. Rawles, my father and. mother, share ana share like, Ninth. I direct my executor hereinafter named to pay the bequests herein made out of the proceeds of my notes and mortgages as same becorie due. But the Baia executor, in the event lie desires to settle my estate before the maturity of my notes and mortgages, is hereby directed to sell, assign or discount said notes and mortgages as he sees fit and proper to do. Tenth. I hereby appoint my friend, William King, to be executor of this my last will and testament; and I direct that he shall not be requirea to give any security for the faithful execu- tion thereof.
