<br />I, Kate S. Roach, of Grand Island, Nebraska, being of sound mind and disposing
<br />memory, do make and publis.1i this, my last will and testament, in the manner and form following:
<br />FIRST.
<br />I direct that my just debts, if any, and the expense attending my burial be first paid and
<br />I direct my executor, hereinafter named, to bury my remains beside those of my deceased husband,
<br />Will Scholey, in the Grand Island Cemetery and to cause to be erected a modest tombstone at the
<br />head of my grave.
<br />SECOND.
<br />I give and bequeath to Martha S. Townsend, route Two, Elyria, Ohio, my small gold watch and
<br />small gold chain.
<br />THIRD.
<br />I give and bequeath to Mrs. Kate A.Ulry, of Grand Island, Nebraska,all my silver ware and
<br />the sum of One Hundred ($100) Dollars in money.
<br />FOURTH.
<br />i I give and bequeath to Mrs. P.M.Sharp, 1203 west Louisa Street, Grand Island, Nebraska, my
<br />heavy wardrobe, all furniture in my front bed room, all my floor rugs and the sum of One Hundred
<br />($100) Dollars in money.

<br />I rive and bequeath to Mrs Norman Reese, of Alda, Nebraska, all of the rest of my household
<br />jgoods and wearing apparel.
<br />SIXTH.
<br />9 I give and bequeath to Mrs. Gus Schwieger, 1210 West Louisa Street, of Grand Island, Nebras-
<br />ka, and Mrs. L. D. Toumine, formerly of Buchtel, Ohio, the sum of One Hundred ($100) Dollars each

<br />I give and bequeath to Mary Davis, of Peoria, Illinois, provided she survives me, the sum of
<br />Two Hundred ($200) Dollars.
<br />EIGHTH.

<br />! I give and bequeath to John Bonner, of North Platte, Nebraska, the enlarged picture of Josep
<br />Roach and Mrs Roach, his first wife.
<br />NINTH.
<br />I give and bequeath to Tim Dorgan, formerly of Grand Island, Nebraska, but now of Long Beach
<br />California, provided he survives me, the sum of Five Hundred ($500) Dollars.
<br />TENTH.
<br />I give devise and bequeath unto Ralph R. Horth, of Grand Island, Nebraska, Lot Number One
<br />(1), in Block Number Two (2), in Windolph's Addition to Grand Island, Nebraska, being the home
<br />where I now reside.
<br />ELEVENTH.
<br />I hold a certificate of deposit on the first National Bank of Grand Island, Nebraska, paya-
<br />ble to me as trustee, for the sum of Two Hundred ($200) Dollars. This is a trust fund contribut-
<br />ed by me and the heirs at law of Joseph Roach, deceased, the income from which is to be used for
<br />the purpose of taking; proper care of the Roach family burial lot in the Alda Cemetery and I di-
<br />rest that my executor use the income from said fund for said purpose and if he can.make permanent
<br />arrangements with the Alda Cemetery Association for the perpetual care of said burial lot, he is
<br />hereby authorized to pay said $200 to the Alda Cemetery Association.
<br />TWELFTH.

<br />I I Five, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my property to Ralph R.
<br />TTorth, in trust, upon the uses and trust and for the purposes following; To invest the same in
<br />interest bearing securities and to pay to my kind friend, Norman Reese, of Alda, Nebraska, the
<br />sum of Fifteen 3 15) Dollars per month so long as the said Norman Reese shall live or until such
<br />fund is exhausted, and should any of said fund remain at the time of the death of the said Norman
