<br />The South east Quarter of the North east Qu
<br />ter, and the North -east Quarter of the South -east Quarter of Section Twenty three, in Township
<br />Twelve, in Range Eleven, subject, however to the life estate provided for my said wife in the sel-
<br />and clause of this will.
<br />FIFTH:
<br />I Five, devise and bequeath to my daughter, Mary Russell, the South half of the North -west
<br />Quarter of Section Thirty -six, in Township Twelve, in Range Eleven, in Hall County, Nebraska,
<br />subjectktothe life estate heretofore in this instrument bequeathed and devised to my wife in an
<br />to said real estate: Provided, however, and upon the condition that my said daughter, Mary Russel,
<br />shall pay to my daughter Margaret Russell, the sum of One Thousand Dollars within two years aft
<br />my death.
<br />SIXTH:
<br />I give and bequeath to my daughter, Margaret Russell, the sum of One Thousand Dollars.
<br />& VENTH :
<br />I give and bequeath to my friend and pastor, Rev. W. Wolf, of Grand Island, Nebraska, the
<br />SUM of Fifty Dollars.
<br />EIGHTH:
<br />All the rest and residue of my estate, real and personal of which I may die possessed, I
<br />give, devise and bequeatn to my wife and children in equal shares.
<br />NINTH:
<br />I hereby nominate and appoint my son John Russell to be the Executor of this my last will
<br />and testament, and I request that he be not required to give any bond as such.:

<br />CODICIL.
<br />This is a codicil to my last will and testament bearing date of November, 21, 1911.
<br />FIRST:
<br />It is my will that section Fifth of my said last will and testament be changed and I hereby
<br />charge same to read as follows:
<br />I give, devise and bequeath to my caughter, Bury Russell, the South half of the North -west
<br />Quarter of Section Thirty -six, in Township Twelve, in Range Eleven, in Hall County, Nebraska, su
<br />ject, however, to the life estate hereinbefore bequeathed and devised to my wife in and-to said
<br />real estate. Provided, however, and upon the condition that my said daughter, Mary Russell, shal
<br />pay to my daughter, Margaret Russell, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars within two years after my
<br />death,
<br />Second.
<br />I give and bequeath to my daughter, Margaret Russell, the sum of Two Thousand Dollars inste
<br />of One Thousand as provided in said will.
<br />Third.
<br />I hereby nominate and appoint my son Jon Russell and my daughter, Margaret Russell, to be
<br />joint executors of my last will and testament and I request the court that they be not required
<br />to give bond for the performance of their duties as sueri executors.
