<br />sidering the uncertainity of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory, blest be God
<br />for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following,

<br />First : - I desire that my funeral charges, and expenses of may last sickness administration of my!
<br />estate and all my just debts, including the debt of $1700. and interest secured by a mortgage on 1

<br />the East half of the Southwest Quarter and the East half of the Northwest Quarter of the South-

<br />west Quarter of Section Ten, Township Eleven. Range Eleven in Hall County, Nebraska, whether the
<br />said mortgage debt be listed or filed in the administration of my estate or not, be paid out of
<br />the proceeds of my personal property, and if that be insufficient for that purpose, then so much
<br />of my real estate be sold as shall be necessary for the same.
<br />Second:- I give, devise and bequeath to my son, John P.Thompson, the undivided one -half of the
<br />West half,of the Southwest Quarter and the West half of the Northwest Quarter of Section Twenty -
<br />six, Township Twelve, Range Thirteen in the County of Buffalo and State of Nebraska; also the un-
<br />divided one half interest of Lot One of Section One in Township Twenty -four North of Range Four-
<br />teen West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Garfield County, State of Nebraska; also the undivi-
<br />ded one -half interest of the Southeast Quarter, the East half of the Southwest Quarter, the North
<br />west Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, the South half of the Northeast Quarter of Section Thirty -
<br />one; the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quar-
<br />ter in Section Thirty -two, all in Township Twenty -five, Range Sixteen in Holt County, Nebraska;

<br />but not covering any expenses thatmay be incurred by him in the discharge of said duties.
<br />Third. I give,^ard bequeath unto my daughter, Callie E. Farnsworth, the undivided one -half of
<br />Lot Two, Block One hundred Fifteen, Railroad Addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska; also
<br />the undivided one -half of the West half of the Southwest .Quarter and the West half of the North-
<br />west Quarter of Section Twenty -six, Town Twelve, Range Thirteen, Buffalo County, Nebraska; also
<br />all of Lots six, seven, eight, nine ten and fifteen and sixteen in Perkins Subdivision of the
<br />Southeast Quarter of Section Twelve in Township Eleven, North Ten West of the Sixth Principal
<br />Meridian in Hall County, Nebraska, the same being seventy acres in the said Southeast Quarter of
<br />Twelve a�oye descriv_ed. to have and to hold the same unto the said Callie E. Farnsworth, her
<br />heirs and assigns forever; subject nevertheless to the payment of any compensation that her hus-
<br />band may be entitled to as one of the executors and trustees of this will but not covering any
<br />expense.
