<br />Last Will and Testament of Fred W. Hardekopf.

<br />In the name pg God, Amen; I, Fred W. Hardekopf, of the City of Grand Island, and County of
<br />Hall, and State of Nebraska, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound
<br />mind and memory, blessed be God for the same, do make publish and declare this my last will and
<br />testament, in manner and form following, that is to say:
<br />First: I direct that my Funeral charges, the expenses of administering my estate and all my
<br />debts be paid out of my personal property. If that be insufficient I authorize my executor, here
<br />inafter named, to sell so much of my real estate as may be necessary for that purpose.
<br />Second: I hereby ordered my executor, hereinafter named, to pay to the Evangelical Church on
<br />West Fifth Street, Grand,Island, Nebraska, out of my personal property, the sum of Twenty -Five
<br />Dollars to be expended for miss- ionery purposes by said Church.
<br />Third. I give begueth and devise to my beloves wife, Katherina Hardekopf, all of my real
<br />and personal property of whatsoever nature to have and to hold to her and her heirs forever.

<br />Fourth. To my children, William, August, Fred, Adele and Meta, I give nothing aslay wife
<br />will provide for them after my death.

<br />All the rest and residue of my estate which I now have or may hereafter acquire, I give, be-
<br />queath and devise unto my beloved wife Katherina.
<br />Fifth: I hereby appoint my beloved son Fred Hardekopf executor of this my last will and
<br />testament hereby revoking all former wills made by me.
<br />In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 29th day of May, 1914, at Grand
<br />Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
