I give and devise the remainder of the following real estate:- <br />The westerly one hundred feet of the north half of lot ten of the County Subdivision of the <br />south half of the south -east quarter of section 16, township 11, north of range 9 west 6N P.M. <br />that being my home in Grand Island, after the death of my wife, to my son Ernst to have and to <br />hold to him and to his heirs forever, after my wife's death. <br />-3- <br />10. I give and bequeath to each of my daughters Laura wife of Bernhard Ewoldt and to Annie, <br />wife of Fritz Scheel, and to their respective heirs, executors and administrators, the sum of fif -j <br />'teen hundred twenty five Dollars ($1525.00), to be paid to each of them after the death of my wife! <br />in the manner as directed in the next paragraph hereof. <br />i <br />11. Fritz Scheel and his wife Annie are indebted to me in the sum of fifteen hundred twenty <br />five dollars ($1525) and Bernhard Ewoldt and his wife Laura are indebted to me in the sum of fif- <br />teen ; <br />teen hundred twenty five ($1525) dollars, these sums representing cash loans to them. I hereby <br />order and direct that my executors hereafter named shall collect said sum of money from the afore-!, <br />,,said persons and that said executors and their successors shall safely and securely invest said <br />!sums of money, namely 43050 so collected in securities bearing an annual interest of not less thanl <br />five per centum and that said interest amounting to not less than $152.50 per annum shall be paid <br />annually by said executors and their successors in office to my wife during her natural life. I <br />Further direct that after the death of my wife, said sum of $3050 invested as aforesaid shall be <br />divided into equal parts and one part thereof shall be paid by my executors to my. daughter Laura <br />and a like sum to my daughter Annie in full of the legacies set out to each of them in the fore- <br />going paragraph, namely, paragraph 10. <br />C <br />12.
